Now Available to Own on DVD from NCircle Entertainment -- The Little Prince:The Planet of the Rose -- Review and #Giveaway

Disclosure: I was sent a screener from the vendor in exchange for an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

My favorite author is Antoine de St. Exupéry, and I am huge fan of The Little Prince.  When both of my girls were in the womb, I would read them the English version of The Little Prince, while my husband would read the girls the Spanish version we found at a bookstore, so that the girls could get used to our voices.  We would read these books to them at night time when the girls were most active and would be kicking up a storm in my belly.  Like clock work, when we started to read The Little Prince to them, they would calm down and relax.  And, after I gave birth to them, we continued to read the classic tale of a little prince and her beautiful rose.  It has been a few years since we read the book to the girls, but thanks to my youngest from stumbling upon the movie on television the other day and then finding the English and Spanish versions of the books on her bookcase, the girls are back into The Little Prince, and wanting us to read to the again.  How could I say "No," as I love the book, and love picking up the book after not reading it for awhile and falling back in love with the story and quotes that have become so popular with people like "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye." I have this quote on the wall in our living room, and it is one quote the girls have memorized and like, like their mom. :-)

So, when we received The Little Prince: The Planet of the Rose DVD in the mail the other day from NCircle Entertainment, I couldn't help but smile, as this DVD arrived at the perfect time, seeing that the girls were back into all things The Little Prince.  My youngest is really getting into it, and couldn't wait to watch the DVD. The girls ended up watching the DVD on the way to gymnastics yesterday and didn't want to leave the car when we arrived at the gym, as they wanted to see how the story ended -- if the Little Prince's rose stayed with her family on the Planet of the Roses, or went back home with the Little Prince.  My girls were happy to learn the Rose had a family and could bring them back to life.  But, they didn't like the fact that she had to choose between her family of roses or the Little Prince.  They were hoping she would leave with the boy, but also felt bad that her family would have to say goodbye to her again.  So, what did the Rose choose?  Don't worry, I will not spoil the ending of this highly engaging movie.  You will just have to pick up this new DVD release to find out for yourself.  And, the best part of this DVD, next to the great content for Little Prince fans old and new, is that you don't have to go in order with the previous DVD releases.  You could watch this new DVD, and then go back and watch the others, as they are about the different planets the Little Prince visits and his journey and adventures on each.

My girls really enjoyed this DVD, and I can't wait to sit down at home and watch it with them.  They really got into it, and even clapped at the end of the movie, so I could tell it was really good.  Read on to learn how you can enter to win a copy of this new DVD release from NCircle Entertainment.

Here is more about this recent DVD release:

"Follow the Little Prince, a beloved hero of all generations, as he experiences brand new adventures with iconic characters such as The Businessman, The King, The Geographer, and more all based on the masterpiece by Antoine de St. Exupéry.

In The Planet of the Rose, the Little Prince believes he has succeeded in getting rid of the Snake once and for all after a deadly battle. He can now finally find the Rose's planet for his dear Rose. With the help of some friends like the Geographer and new friends like Louis, the Little Prince and Rose must leave B612 for good in order to find the Planet of the Rose.

When the Little Prince, Louis, and Rose reach the Planet of the Rose, strange crabs live on the surface and are hardly hospitable. There is no trace of vegetation and no trace of the Rose people. Convinced they have reached the wrong planet, the Little Prince is ready to leave when they find some of the Rose people. However, the Rose people are asleep. How can they bring them back to life?

As the Little Prince and Rose try to wake up the Rose people it seems that isn't their only problem on this planet. Their new friend, Louis, isn't who he appears to be and might not be a friend after all...."
