My girls love PLAYMOBIL building sets, especially their seasonal ones they offer for the holidays. The girls have shrines in their rooms on shelves of their favorite PLAYMOBIL builds. Saying they are fans of PLAYMOBIL® toys is an understatement. So, when the folks at PLAYMOBIL came out with the Super 4 animated series, my girls were over the moon excited about it. We had the opportunity to host a screening party a couple years back when Super 4 premiered, and the girls and their friends had a blast. And, since then, the girls have been on the lookout for new PLAYMOBIL Super 4 DVD releases to pick up and add to their growing collection.
The other day, we received the new PLAYMOBIL® Super 4: Meet Ruby DVD in the mail to review, and the girls couldn't wait to sit and watch it. This new DVD features 7 full-length stories, and has a run time of about 80 minutes. We ended up watching the DVD in one sitting, and the girls gave it two thumbs up at the end. They loved the pirate-themed episodes, and were quick to grab their pirate dress garb to pretend and act out some of their favorite scenes from this new DVD release.
