Next to family game nights in our house, another fun thing we like to do together is make puzzles. We have a puzzle table set up in the living room, and whenever we walk by we stop for a bit, or take a seat and work on a section of the puzzle that is out. Everyone in the house hopes they are the last one to lay the final piece to the puzzle as they not only get to brag that they completed the puzzle, but they also get to choose the next puzzle we work on.
Recently, I was sent a super cool 3D Eiffel Tower puzzle from the folks at Carrera-Revell of America. I had seen 3D puzzles in stores before and online, but never picked one up for my family, partly because they looked too difficult to do.
Usually when we complete a puzzle we will use mod podge to paint over the puzzle and seal it so that we can hang it in our family room in the lower level. We have a wall covered with all our favorite completed puzzles. I wondered when I saw the 3D puzzles, next to them being challenging, how I would display them if they were to big. Like I mentioned above, we were sent the 3D Eiffel Tower puzzle from Carrera-Revell of America to work on, and it was so much fun to work on together. Every night after dinner we would gather around the puzzle table, and piece together this puzzle.
It was neat to see the puzzle growing taller and taller each night, until we were done. In the end it was 30 inches by 71 inches once put together.
I wasn't expecting it to be that big, but it was breathtaking and full of detail once done. Seeing it complete is what got us excited to want to order and put together another 3D puzzle from Carrera-Revell of America. Now, we are on our third 3D puzzle, the Titanic, which lights up with LED lights, and can't wait to get more.
