Recently, the kind folk at JAKKS Pacific sent along their Great Hall Mini Playset for my girls to review. Lucky my oldest isn't a fan of Harry Potter, as there was no fighting of who would get the playset, and help me review it.
As you can tell with the smiling face in the photo above, my youngest one scored this min playset, and loved every minute of helping me review it, before adding it to her growing Harry Potter toy collection, most of which is made up of JAKKS Pacific toys.
Out of all the mini playsets that my daughter has from JAKKS Pacific, she is quick to tell me that the Hogwarts Great Hall Mini Playset is by far her favorite one. While my daughter loves all the features mentioned above about this mini Hogwarts playset, as a parent, I love how it can close up and be stored neatly away when not in use. Right now, my daughter has all her mini playsets from JAKKS Pacific displayed on her dresser table. But, when she takes it down to play, she can easily tote it around closed, and then close it up so she doesn't lose the mini figures that are included, when bringing this playset back to her room.
I have loved watching my daughter come up with stories using the mini playset and mini figures, and act them out for me. Usually she is having Harry dodge the snake, having the chicken leg vanish before Ron can get a hold of it with a magic spell she had Harry cast with his wand, and has Hermione trying the sorting hat -- all of these are interactive features that really make this a must own mini playset for Harry Potter fans of all ages. Like I mentioned above, my daughter said that this is her favorite mini playset as it comes with so many extras, and she hasn't stopped playing with it, since receiving it last week in the mail.
And, if your child has one of the Harry Potter Wizard Training Wards, they can use it with this mini playset, and it will respond to the following six spells, which is really cool...
My daughter got a wand for her birthday last month and couldn't wait to try her spell casting. And, after doing her first spell, she was all smiles and couldn't wait to do the others.
