Check Out These Fun Ripley's Board and Picture Books for Kids Under Age 8 that Would Make Great Non-Toy Gifts for Under the Tree + Enter to #Win a Ripley's Book Bundle #Giveaway

Disclosure: I was sent review copies from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

The holidays are a great time of year to add to your child's book collection with some new books for them to enjoy on their own or read with you.  My girls recently put together their wish lists for Santa, and I couldn't help but smile when I saw that they included a handful of books they want him to bring, so that they can read them and add them to their collections they have one.  One publishing that made it on both of my girls' wish lists was Ripley's Believe It or Not!  If you follow my blog, then you have probably seen reviews I have shared throughout the years, since I started blogging back in 2007, featuring Ripley's annual books, as well as their board and picture books for young readers.  My girls were first introduced to Ripley's Believe It or Not! books when they were little and would flip through the pages of the Ripley's books I leave out on the coffee table for family and friends who come to visit.  There are always interesting, wacky and oh so interesting facts and finds from all around the world that fill the pages of the Ripley's books, and they are always well received during the holidays when we have people over.  Over the years, family and friends visit expecting to see recent Ripley's Believe It or Not! books, and some are even excited when they unwrap their gifts and find a few Ripley's books for them to bring home and enjoy. :-)

Well, this year, the little ones in my family will be getting a stack of either board or picture books to add to their book collections, thanks to one of my favorite publishing companies, Ripley Publishing.  Throughout the year, my girls have been fortunate enough to be sent new Ripley's releases to read and enjoy. Seeing how much fun they had with these new board and picture books, I made note of this, and knew they would make for great gift ideas for their cousins.  Usually they share their books with them when they come to visit, and Ripley's books are ones that are always popular with the kids.  So, I know they will be excited when they have new Ripley's books to bring home and add to their book collections, to read on their own, or share with their parents at bedtime.

With Christmas fast approaching, I wanted to take time to highlight a few of my girls' favorite Ripley's books that they received this year from Ripley Publishing, so you have some book ideas on your radar as you start putting together your holiday shopping list and go shopping. Books are easy to get, as you can order through online retailers -- so you never have to step foot in a mall or store, and steer clear of crowds, as the clock ticks down to Christmas. :-)  So, it is a win win for everyone -- you keep your sanity, and the kids you gift these Ripley's books to get some fun and fascinating books to read and enjoy, time and time again.

In addition to sharing a few of my girls' favorite Ripley's books, I am also offering a fun Ripley's book bundle giveaway for young children, thanks to the kind folks at Ripley Publishing.  These books can be split between children, grandchildren, etc., or given as a family gift to your kids. However you choose to gift the books, if you are lucky enough to win this fun giveaway, just know the kids will be in for a treat with these selected titles...my girls LOVED them all and still read them to this day. :-)

First up are some fun board books little ones will love holding and flipping the sturdy pages learning about opposites, feelings, the alphabet, shapes and even colors.  These books are great to stuff in your diaper bag and bring along to keep little ones entertained on the go. And, they are sturdy so can take a beaten from little ones, and last a long time. :-)
