I hope you are all enjoying summer, and the beautiful weather it brings.  My girls have been in summer mode since early May, but are only starting to get outdoors more, as it finally stopped raining here in CT.  It seemed like May was a wash out.  But, with all the rain, came the pretty flowers in the garden, and the warmer weather, which we all love. :-)

This is the first time my girls are truly experiencing a summer vacation and taking a couple months off of school.  Usually we homeschool year-round, and then take a few weeks off in December and then again in the spring.  But, they have been asking to have a summer like their friends, and it will give them and I time to unwind after a busy school year.  They get to read all the books they want for summer reading, and I can finally pick up a book again and actually have time to read it cover to cover, without having to rush off for a homeschool class or activity, or have something else going on, that leaves me going a mile a minute, right up until bedtime.

Today, the girls spent the entire outside in the new pool they bought.  They put their money together to buy the pool, and then helped me set it up.  We used to have an above ground pool, but early on we found out that my youngest is allergic to chlorine and pool chemicals, so we ended up taking it down, as it would have been more expensive to convert to salt water.

The girls have been having a blast playing in the pool, and sunbathing, and I have enjoyed lounging by their kiddie pool, with a glass of lemonade and a good book.  If that isn't the life, I don't know what is?! :-)

In addition to enjoying this summer day, we have been getting in a lot of day trips, which has me whipping out the camera to snap up photos to preserve these wonderful summer memories.  I am reminded as I look at the photos I have taken, that the girls are no longer little, and are growing up fast.  My oldest will be turning 9 in a few weeks, and my other daughter will be 8 in the fall. Where did the time go?  This is another reason I wanted them to have a summer, as I know we are only really given 18 summers with our kids, before they head off to school and then start their our lives, so I am making the most of it now, while the girls still like to hang out with their Mommy and Daddy. :-)  With all the photos I have been taking, I am planning to make photo books to give the relatives for the holidays, as well as a bunch of canvas prints to hang up in the house.

The other day while cleaning, I realized that all the canvas prints that we have are of the girls when they are little -- the toddler and preschool years.  We don't have any newer ones.  I kept meaning to order canvas prints online, but never got around to it.  And, then once I did find time, there were so many online stores offering canvas prints and personalized gifts, it was hard to choose which one offered the best quality of product for the best price.  While reviewing sites, I was contacted by the folks at to see if I wanted to review their Photo Canvas, and I jumped at the opportunity.  The hard part was choosing, which photo to use for the photo canvas order.

I eventually settled on this photo, which I had them frame in a black frame.  I have to, I am not usually a fan of black and white photos or framed art, but this one really came out amazing.

In addition to the framed print, I also used this black and white photo my husband took to make a photo on canvas, as well as a photo blanket.  I will be gifting the photo canvas and photo blanket from to my father for his upcoming birthday, from the girls.

My parents, too, only have canvas photos and photos around their house of the girls when they were little, as I used to go crazy with canvas prints and wall decor with the girls' photos as holiday and birthday gifts to them.  But, then life happened and things got crazy with the girls' schedules and ordering photo prints and photo canvas slipped my mind.

I am so happy that I had the opportunity to try out and order a few of their photo gifts, for our house and to gift to my father for his birthday. The ordering process was a breeze, and my order arrived in record time.  I was truly amazed at not only how quickly I received my order, but how the framed photo print and photo blanket turned out.  I am usually a photo canvas person, but was curious to see how photos turn out with our wall decor options, and am happy with the results...and, will definitely be placing another order soon with all the summer photos I have be taking of the girls.  Who knows?...maybe this year with be the year of photo gifts for family, including puzzles, blankets, photo mugs, photo puzzles, and more...all from

The prices for their wall decorations and photo gifts are so affordable, and who wouldn't want a cute photo of the girls enjoying summer? I know I would love to sip my morning coffee from a photo mug, stopping to admire the photos and reminiscing about this summer and years past.

So, if you love taking photos of your family and love photo gifts including canvas prints and framed photo prints, why not check out You will be amazed at their pricing and product offering, and the will be amazed again, when your order arrives and you the great quality of the photo gifts you ordered.  I love my framed photo of the girls, and can't wait for my girls to surprise their Papa with their photo blanket and photo canvas, for his birthday.  I know it will put a smile on his face, each and every time he looks at them.
