THIS FALL, GET YOUR GROOVE ON WITH
AN EXHILIRATING, INSPIRING DANCE DRAMA!

Starring Du-Shaunt "Fik-Shun" Stegall, Keon Motakhaveri,
Tetona Jackson, Erica Klein, and Heather Morris

Even though I was born with two left feet and can't dance to save my life, I still love watching all the dance shows and competitions on television.  I love seeing all these talented dancers from all genres dancing their hearts out and performing memorable dance routines.  One of my favorite shows to watch is So You Think You Can Dance.  Have you watched this show?  It just wrapped another successful season, and I was glued to the screen each week that it was on, in awe at all the dancers.  One of my favorite dancers from all the previous seasons of this series next to Twitch is Fik-Shun.  He was a hip-hop dancer, but proved in season 10 that he could master and perform so effortlessly any genre the choreographers on the show threw at him. I was rooting for him to win, and was happy when he did.

So, when I heard a couple months ago that "All Styles" a dance movie featuring Fik-Shun and other dancers, was coming to DVD, I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy to watch.  Here is the official trailer, if you haven't heard about this movie yet -- a must see for fans of dance and Fik-Shun...

You may have noticed Heather Morris in the trailer.  She is from Glee and is a popular dancer who was a backup dancer for Beyonce.  And, did you know Heather also tried out and made it all the way through Vegas Week on So You Think You Can Dance Season 2, but was cut when they narrowed it down to the top 20. She didn't give up on her dreams of dancing, and has had a very successful dance career, as well as staring in hit shows like Glee, and films, like this one.

What I loved about All Styles is that is was not just a DVD about dance.  It had a story line that you followed, while also enjoying dancers from all walks of life.  The soundtrack of this movie is catchy and will have you tapping your feet and wanting to get up off the couch and show off your dance moves -- good or bad! :-)

I ended up making my husband watch this movie with me the other night as part of our date night.  He is not usually into dance shows or movies, but I was surprised to see him in getting into it.  He wasn't big into the story, but he was amazed at the different dancers and their slick dance moves. But, like me, he can't dance, so I don't have to worry about him going through a mid-life crisis and wanting to give up his day job to pursue dancing. :-)

If you love dance movies or tune in to the many different dance competitions that air throughout the year on television, then you will want to check out All Styles, available now on DVD and digital from Shout! Factory.  I enjoyed it, and know you will, too!
