BANANAGRAMS

In addition to the My First Bananagrams game I just shared from the folks at BANANAGRAMS, I was also sent one of their other popular title games called Cobra Paw.  I have to admit, I really didn't know much about this game, except that it had a ninja cat on the cover of the game box, and that my daughter, Savannah, who LOVES cats has been asking for it.  But, once I received the game along the other BANANGRAMS game and read the instructions, I found myself getting excited about the game and wanting to play it with my girls.

So, what is COBRA PAW? It is a tile-snatching game where ninja-like reflexes, sharp recognition skills, and mental fortitude are needed to steal the win. Here, check out this short video to see this game in action...

Looks like a fun game, right?  It really is, and has been a favorite of my family's since we played it the first time a couple of weeks ago.  This game is for kids ages 6+ and lasts between 5-15 minutes, so it is a relatively fast paced game that you can pull up and play with the kids when they are bored, or bring on the go and play at a dr.'s office or appt. to keep the kids busy.  You only need a minimum of two players to play this game (with a maximum of 6 players).  And, the first one to snatch up Clawfuku stones claims victory as the Cobra Paw Ninja Master.

We really had a blast playing this snatch a tile game.  And, once you start playing this game and see how fast paced it it, it is hard to stop.  You want to play until you win, and then you wan to keep playing to see how many games you can win in a row.

Even though the titles didn't have cats on them -- just the cover art of the game, Savannah really got into the game.  She would pretend to be a cat while snatching up the titles, hissing and doing a cat paw swat as she snatched up the stone tiles.  And, when she won, she make a point to do a happy cat dance she made up, complete with her own unique ninja cat moves. :-)

Now whenever the girls are looking for a game to play, or find themselves bored and with nothing to do, or I need them to stay busy while I make dinner or a phone call, they reach for Cobra Paw from the shelf.  I love seeing them play nice together, as they laugh and smile playing this game.  And, when as soon as I am free, I call next game and join in the fun. :-)

If you are looking for a fun new tile snatching game to add to your family's growing games collection, or a fun gift idea for that special child in your life, why not consider picking up Cobra Paw today.  At under $15.00, you can't go wrong with this fast-paced game that will have everyone smiling and asking to play again.
