BANANAGRAMS

If you follow my blog, then you know that I homeschool my two girls, and love to incorporate games in our learning.  We love game nights at our house and one game the girls always want to play is BANANAGRAMS?  Have you played this game?  It really is fun.  If you have young children who are just learning how to spell, BANANAGRAMS will be too challenging for them.  But, thanks to the My First BANANAGRAMS games now young children can enjoy this fun game as they sharpen their phonics skills and learn to build small words.  This game is perfect for those just learning letter recognition, as well as those who are learning how to spell and sound out small words.

I showed my girls this game the other day and explained how this was just like the other BANANAGRAMS game they see the adults play on game night...but, that this version was made especially for them.  They couldn't wait to play, and I for one was excited to have this game for game night and to use as part of our homeschooling, as we have been focusing a lot lately on writing and spelling.

My girls really enjoyed this game, and my youngest, who has fought me about learning how to read and spelling, said to me "Who knew a game that has to do with spelling and reading would be so much fun!"  And, now whenever we sit down for school, we start our day with a game or two of BANANAGRAMS with our new My First BANANAGRAMS game.

If you have young children at home who are just learning how to read or spell, or struggle with letter recognition or building small words, why not consider picking up this new game made especially for young learners.  BANANAGRAMS is such a popular game with families, and one we have loved playing in our house for years.  Now, little ones can have fun with building words and learning to become stronger spellers with this game -- which comes in a handy banana storage bag you zip closes, for easy storage.  I love bringing this game along to co-op for the girls to share with their friends, or to keep the girls busy when we are at a dr's appt. or appt where they would usually be sitting watching television or asking for my phone to pass the time.  The titles of this game are small enough as not to take up a lot space.  And, cleanup and storage is a breeze.
