Fun in the Bath w/ the Octopus Floating Bath Toy from Nuby (Review)

Bath time has been made more fun recently thanks to the folks at Nuby, as they sent me a handful of bath toys to review this month as part of their Nuby Mommy Bloggers program.  Just the other day I shared a review on the Nuby Tub Time Turtle, as well as their set of foam letters and numbers that actually stick and stay on bathtub walls.  Today, I wanted to share my thoughts on another Nuby product for bath time fun, the BPA Free Octopus Floating Bath Toy.  

So far, this is my youngest daughter, Arabella's, favorite bath toy.  Designed with little ones (especially babies) in mind, this bath toy helps teach coordination by having children put plastic loops, which come in different shapes, onto the Octopus' tenticles.  In addition to having different shapes, the loops also come in different bright colors, making them eye appealing to little ones.  You will also see that these loops have different textures...a great sensory feature for little ones. 

Bella loves to make a game out of the Octopus Floating Ring Toss Bath Toy with my husband at bath time.  They take turns throwing the different loops, in hopes of getting onto one of the octopus' tentacles.  Even though Bella rarely gets one loop on successfully, she has a blast at trying. 

And, when not in use, this bath toy and all its loose pieces stores away nice and easy.  I simply attach the different loops to the octopus' tentacles and slide the bath toy to one of the corner's of the tub wall.

This is one bath toy that would make for a great gift idea for babies and toddlers, as it will make bath time much more fun and enjoyable.
