My Thoughts:
My husband ended up watching this DVD with my nephew when he came to visit on Friday, as I was laid up in bed sick. Even with the door shut, I could hear my nephew hooting and hollering with excitement as he watched every one of the 10 action packed episodes of this popular children's series. This was the first time my husband watched the show, and when I asked him what he thought about it, he said it was better than the other animated car shows he has seen. Don't ask my nephew to choose a favorite character, as he will start by saying Boomer, and then go down the list naming all the other characters. :-) I guess if you are a true fan of the show like him, it is hard to choose just one favorite.
Even though he is a little old for the bonus feature, which was a sing-along, he did get up and dance with Savannah who was getting into the catchy tune. My husband said that Savannah watched it for a little bit and then walked away to play with her kitchen set. I guess this series if geared more towards boys or the older children, as it didn't keep her attention. But, overall, it was a great way to spend two hours entertaining our nephew. Like other DVDs we have had him help us screen, he asked to borrow this and share with his friends and watch again. So, based on this and his reaction throughout the 10 episodes, I say that this new release is a winner for The Adventures of Chuck and Friends fans.
