Who doesn’t like chocolate?  As you know, I am a chocoholic and always on the lookout for great chocolate and new brands to try.  So, when I was given the opportunity to try a sampling of NewTree chocolate bars to sample for the holidays.  You don’t know how excited I was when I received the package, and quickly grabbed my scissors to open the package.  I spent a few minutes looking at the chocolate bars and reading the nutritional values and ingredients.  Well, mainly just the ingredients, because when it comes to chocolate, you can’t look at the nutritional value.  All you know is that is so tasty!

I was sent the following NewTree Chocolate Bars to sample:

Superfruit 65% Cocoa

newtree3

Discover this incredible combination of bruit fruite flavors together with fine Belgian dark chocolate.  This chocolate includes grape extract (a natural source of antioxidants), plus 3 times more fiber and 30% less sugar than similar chocolate.

Cherry

newtree4

Surprise yourself with the fresh, gourmet flavors of NewTree Cherry dark chocolate.  Beyond the cherry, this chocolate contains a natural grape seed extract rich in antioxidants.

Milk 31% Cocoa

newtree5

Experience a delicious combination of smooth Belgian milk chocolate, lightly toasted flax seeds and crunchy crisped rice.  This bar is a natural source of omega-3, plus it contains 3 times more fiber and 30% less sugar than similar chocolate.

After sampling each one, I have to say that my favorite was the milk 31% cocoa, followed by Cherry.  My husband, in a matter of minutes, devoured the Superfruit bar, so it was hard for me to really savor each piece from this bar.  But, based on his reaction the candy bar, and the spots of chocolate that were left behind on his shirt (which I had to soak), I can safely say he is a fan of this bar and the NewTree brand.  You can really taste the flavor profile of each bar.  And, the best part about each chocolate bar was that they contained natural ingredients and less sugar than most flavored chocolate bars.  You could tell that the quality of chocolate used with these bars is top notch, as the chocolate was rich and creamy.  And, being a fan of chocolate, I am picky when it comes to chocolate and can pick up on knock-offs or those brands that add sugar to make the chocolate taste sweeter.  But, not with NewTree – you get quality and flavor with each bar you enjoy from them!!!

After I tried each of the flavors from NewTree, I headed over to their website to see what other flavors they offered.  I was excited to see that they have lavender, black currant, apricot and ginger flavored bars.  I will definitely be picking these up to try out.

And, with just 22 shopping days left until Christmas, what are you waiting for?  Head on over to NewTree today and shop online.  Don’t forget to order a bar or two for yourself! Smile
