LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE is Now Available to Own on Blu-Ray and DVD -- Makes for a Great Stocking Stuffer, Too! (Review) #LyleLyleCrocodile

Disclosure: I was sent a screener from the vendor in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

Usually we wait until Friday to watch any movies sent to be screened, as part of our weekly family movie and pizza night.  But, when I received LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE on Blu-ray + DVD +Digital yesterday, I had to make an exception to that rule, as we have been eagerly awaiting the release of this movie to DVD and Blu-Ray since seeing it in theaters a while back. This movie was the first one we headed back to the movies to see on the big screen, since COVID shut everything down.  Yes, we could have watched in our home on Digital when it released back on November 22nd, but after seeing the official trailer earlier in the year, and knowing just how much my girls love Shawn Mendes and his music, I knew they would love seeing it on the big screen and with movie theater sound quality.  We got lucky when we went to see it at the theater as we were the only ones there -- so it felt like a private screening, which the girls thought was neat.

This is a really cute movie, and has a lot of catchy songs that will have you singing along to, and singing long after you leave the theater.  But, be warned, if you cry easily at movies, you will want to have tissues handy. Both my youngest daughter and I had to reach for our tissues a few times throughout the movie. It was worth it, though, as this was a really great movie, and one we will be watching time and time again. I know this as we watched it yesterday, and as soon as the credits began to roll, my oldest was asking if we could watch it again for our Friday night movie this week.  I didn't hesitate and said, "Yes!" as this is one family-friendly movie you will not grow tired of.  Plus there are some fun bonus features including sing-along songs in karaoke form for the family to enjoy singing along to, as well as bloppers, deleted scenes and two music videos.

If you haven't seen this movie, and are looking for a fun family-friendly movie the whole family will enjoy, I highly recommend you pick up LYLE, LYLE, CROCODILE, which is available today on Blu-ray and DVD. It also makes for a great stocking stuffer, too!

"When the Primm family moves to New York City, their young son Josh struggles to adapt to his new school and new friends. All of that changes when he discovers Lyle - a singing crocodile who loves baths, caviar and great music - living in the attic of his new home.

The two become fast friends, but when Lyle’s existence is threatened by evil neighbor Mr. Grumps, the Primm’s must band together with Lyle’s charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti, to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places and there’s nothing wrong with a big singing crocodile with an even bigger personality."
