Give a Gift That Will Help Improve Focus at Work and School with the Hoglet Fidget Toy and Computer Mouse (Review)

Disclosure: I was sent samples from the vendor in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

Do you or your child like fidget toys?  And, do you use a wireless mouth when working on your laptop?  If you answered, "Yes," to both of these questions, then do I have the product for you -- the Hoglet from HedgeHog Health.  When I first saw the Hoglet, I thought it was a cute little mouse, but once I experienced this mouse for myself, and then gave the two samples we were sent to review from the folks at HedgeHog Health, I could see why this is one of those products you wonder how you ever lived without them.

So, what is the Hoglet, and why is a must have for people who find themselves fidgeting while working at the computer, or keeps that need a way to keep their hands distracted while working on homework or taking part in an online class.

"The Hoglet by HedgeHog Health is a must-have for our children with learning challenges such as autism and ADHD. This game-changing fidget gadget and computer mouse understands kids’ sensory needs while helping focus and productivity.

Plus, it looks like a baby hedgehog that kids will want to use it. This wireless mouse allows kids to fidget while learning in front of the screen. It’s the first mouse to bring together fun and functionality!

(Comes in a variety of colors)

Both of my girls are homeschooled, and started doing more online classes once COVID hit. Then, as things eased back up, I found it was easier and more enjoyable for them to do some of their classes through Zoom and other teaching platforms, rather than sit in the car and have me drive them to classes outside the house, usually an hour to hour and half each way. Not only would they get tired of the long drive even before showing up to a class, but, if we were running late, this only added to the stress for all of us. And, by the time we made it to their classes, they weren't in the mood to sit for a long class or lecture, knowing that a few hours later, we would back in the car driving yet again.

But, when the girls started to do more online classes at the start of COVID, I found them fidgiting more in their seats. Yes, they liked the classes, but like most kids not used to online learning, they couldn't sit still and wanted something to do to keep them busy. I bought them a handful of fidget toys, and that seemed to help distract them...but, eventually they grew tired of them. So, when I saw the Hoglet, I knew that this would be the perfect distraction for them. They were always playing with their current wireless mouse, watching the arrow move across the screen. It was missing the fidget/sensory accept that really seemed to help the girls.

After sharing the Hoglet with the girls, I found them being more productive in their online classes. They were focusing more, and actually paying attention in classes and not getting easily distracted. Both of my girls agreed that they liked the feel of the Hoglet under their palms as they moved about the screen.

And, when they were sitting back listening to a lesson, they liked rubbing their hand of the mouse. It was a relaxing feeling, and kept them amused and relaxed.

My girls have been using their Hoglet wireless mouses for a couple months now and love them! They love showing them off to new teachers and friends in their classes. At first people don't know what to make of them as they look like a cute little hedgehog cover for your mouse. But, once my girls explain what it is and show it, everyone wishes they had one. I ended up picking up two more Hoglets so that my husband and I would each have. I found him sneaking one of the girls' Hoglets when they weren't in a class. He started working from home like so many people during COVID and has been fortunate enough to be able to stay home and work. It is nice having him around for lunch and to take breaks during the day and go to the gym with the girls, or just hang out in between meetings and calls. But, when he has a long day of meetings, he found that having the Hoglet at this desk, helped keep him focused and engaged. Like the girls, he liked the feeling of the Hoglet under his hand, and it was a good distraction for him.

He usually reaches for paperclips to bend and play with, or will sit there pushing the button on a pen. But, once he tried the Hoglet for the first time, he said this is what he has needed for some, and now he can't live without it.

With the holiday shopping season coming to end soon, why not take the stress out of finding the perfect gift for those hard to shop for people on your holiday shopping list? Everyone uses a laptop or computer, either at home, at the office, or at school. And, everyone is prone to having a short attention span, especially when they are working or at school all day. Make sitting at the laptop more fun and relaxing by gifting them a Hoglet from HedgeHog Health. This gift would be perfect for tween, teens and college students, as they will love the fun colors that the Hoglet comes in.

And, once they hold this mouse for the first time, they will be ready to say goodbye to their old, plain mouse. You can learn more about the Hoglet by visiting the HedgeHog Health website here: https://www.hedgehoghealth.com/shop. The Hoglet can also be purchased from Amazon, so if you order now, you will get in time for the holidays! :-)

Don't forget to grab a Hoglet for yourself...you will thank me later!
