Back pain can be caused by something like a fall or a car crash. But most back pain is caused by doing everyday movements wrong, like twisting to reach or lift something, sitting at a computer for hours in the same position, bending over to vacuum, or carrying heavy shopping bags. The good news is that avoiding back pain isn't that hard. Most of the time, you just need to make a few small changes that will soon become second nature. Here are some easy ways to avoid back pain that work.

One of the best things you can do to prevent back pain is to get up and move around. Why does working out keep your back from hurting? The purpose of muscles is to move. If you aren't in good shape, even simple things like lifting your child out of their crib can hurt your back and make you feel pain.
