Space Aficionados Will Love Unwrapping the Mercury, 100-Piece Puzzle Available from Chronicle Books This Holiday Season - Perfect for Ages 6+ (Review)

Disclosure: I was sent a sample from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

I have COVID quarantining to thank for getting my whole family hooked on puzzle making.  While we used to do puzzles pre-COVID, we never had a puzzle going at all times, or a designated area in our house with puzzle set up. But, now we have a card table set up in the corner of our living room, and have a stack of puzzles to be worked on, and one on the table that we all take turns working on.  :-)  It really is a fun hobby to do as a whole family -- minus when my husband steals a piece to hold out until the very end, so that he can place the last piece.  If you follow my blog, then you probably read a few recent posts where I shared some of the fun puzzles I was sent from different brands for review and inclusion in my holiday gift guide.  Today, I wanted to share a fun space-themed puzzle that we recently completed, and that I know would make for a great gift idea for kids and adults who love the planets and Outer Space.  Mercury, a 100-piece puzzle which when put together forms a circular puzzle, is simply stunning.

With only 100 pieces this puzzle is perfect for beginner puzzle makers, or as a quick brain break puzzle for puzzle enthusiasts.  It features photography from the archives of NASA to show Mercury's unique mineralogical and physical properties...a true show stopping puzzle and a one of kind puzzle for sure.  We were able to put this puzzle together in less than an hour, and then found ourselves lingering around the table to admire this truly breathaking puzzle.

My youngest kept saying how cool it would be to travel to another planet, and loved how this puzzle used actual photographs taken from NASA's MESSENGER spacecraft.  She has always had a love for Outer Space, but found herself wanting to study more about Mercury after completing this fun puzzle.  Since making this puzzle, my girls have taken in apart and made it again a few more times.  Each and every time they place the last puzzle piece, they can't help but smile as they know this is a fun puzzle to do, and one that many will want to decoupage to save and maybe even hang to display.

If you are a puzzle fan or know someone who is?  Or, if you are still looking for the perfect gift for that special Space aficionado in your life, look no further than the Mercury, 100-piece puzzle available from Chronicle Books, with design by Lydia Ortiz.

Once you see this puzzle up close you will see why it is a favorite of my family's.  Check out this puzzle, and order it today by visiting the Chronicle Books website here: https://www.chroniclebooks.com/.
