Gather the Family This Friday to Enjoy a Fun-Filled and Heartfelt Animated Movie - Mosley, Arrives to Digital on 12/10 and DVD on 12/14 (Review)

Disclosure: I was sent a screener and promotional product in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

This evening we received a surprise package in the mail -- hand painted sugar cookies from The Cake Wagon in Las Vegas, to go along with an upcoming family-friendly movie, Mosley, which arrives on Digital this Friday, December 10th, and on DVD on Dec. 14th, from Saban Films and Paramount.

They were almost too pretty to eat -- but, they smelled amazing...so we couldn't resist :-)

This movie has been on my family's must see list since we saw the trailer a few months ago, and my girls have been counting down the days until we could watch it on Digital.  So, it was a nice surprise to not only get an advanced screener of this heartwarming film, but the delicious sugar cookies were a nice surprise treat that made for a more fun impromptu family movie night.

After dinner, we settled in on the couch under cozy blankets to watch Mosley, with cookies in hand.  It was the perfect way to end the day. :-)  Halfway through the movie, when I was reaching for another tissue (if you cry easy at movies, you'll want tissues handy), my youngest turned to me and said that this was the best movie night.  The cookies with cold milk were amazing -- at first, she said they were too pretty to eat -- but, then saw everyone else enjoying them and took a bite, and couldn't stop until she was done.  And, as far as the movie, it was great.  I told her wait until the movie ended for her final report, but she kept whispering as the movie continued to play -- "Mom, see I told you this movie is great." And, that it was.  Everyone in our house loved the movie, including my husband.  He liked the animation, while I found the themes and messages of the movie to be great -- hope, courage, family, never giving up, and working together were all themes from the movie that my girls were able to pick up on, as they described their favorites part to me at the end.  It is nice when they release wholesome movies like Mosley, that you can sit down and enjoy with your kids, young and old, and not have to worry about violence, profanity, or inappropriate messages.   As soon as the movie ended, both of my girls agreed that come Friday we will have to watch this movie again.  It was that good!

We had been waiting for awhile for this movie to release, and it was well worth the wait.  If you are looking for a fun family-friendly movie, that will warm your heart and share positive messages your kids will pick up on, I highly recommend you check out Mosley, when it arrives to Digital on DVD. Or, pre-order the DVD now from Amazon for under $10, and watch it next week with your family. This is one movie you'll love watching again and again.  I am looking forward to Friday when we will watch this again.
