Yesterday was a good mail day for the girls...and for me (as no bills) :-) They ran to the mailbox and found a huge box ready to be opened. It took the two of them to carry it inside, as it was heavy. Too bad they didn't know what was inside -- just that it was something to help me review. But, as soon as they got the box upstairs and the top of the box opened, they both let out loud screams of excitement as inside the oversized cardboard shipping box was a #MyLittlePonyANewGen promotional mailer full of goodies for the girls to enjoy, in advance of watching this movie, which released exclusively to Netflix today, for the second time.
This past weekend we got to screen the new My Little Pony: A New Generation movie, and it was an instant hit with my girls. They have grown up watching all the MLP shows on television, and loved all the animated Equestria girls movies that came out in the theaters. And, now with this new movie release, it brings new characters and a fun new story line. Oh, and did I mention many of the voice actors are popular actors and actresses that your kids already love - including Sofia Carson, Vanessa Hudgens, James Marsden, and Ken Jeong, just to name a few. My youngest has been talking about this movie for weeks, and was super excited when we got an advance screening of it. We were able to view the screener 5 times before it expired, and the girls took full advantage of this and watched if 3 times in 24 hours. And, since then, they have been counting down the days until the release of the movie to Netflix, so that they could watch it again. As my daughter said this AM when she woke at 6AM -- "Mom, the wait is finally over...fans of MLP can now watch My Little Pony: A New Generation!!!" To say she was excited was an understatement. And, instead of getting dressed with clothes for the day, the girls opted to change into PJ's they received the box of goodies yesterday, to be all pony/unicorned out for their next viewing of this movie, which will surely be an instant with MLP fans young and old.

They were over the moon excited and loved everything that was sent, including the new #MyLittlePonyANewGen toys and Unicorn Snot branded #MyLittlePonyANewGen products.
So, if you haven't already watched the new #MyLittlePonyANewGen, which released to Netflix today, I highly recommend you check it out with your family tonight or over this weekend. I know you will love it as much as my girls and I do! And, the message of friendship that is conveyed in this new movie is a great one and perfect for kids and adults to take in and apply to their own lives. We are a country divided right now, and a sweet movie like this that kids and adults can enjoy and pick up on the messaging will truly resonate with whoever sits and watches it. And, hopefully it can be applied to your day to day life and interactions with others, and hopefully bring everyone together, no matter their differences. The ponies were able to do, why can't we as a nation?!
