Since my husband started working from home remotely, we have been looking for a smart monitor that he could pair with his laptop and phone for work purposes. A plus was for a monitor to be able to be used for personal use, too, to stream television or watch videos, etc. After much research, we found ourselves always going back to the M7 4K UHD Smart Monitor with Streaming TV.
The World's 1st Do-It-All Screen
It had everything we were looking for more for a smart monitor. Installation was so easy...right out of the box it took about 10 minutes to set up. And, from there, my husband enjoyed checking out all the features of this smart monitor. My husband works in IT and is picky when it comes to new technology. So, when he started to play around with his new monitor from Samsung, this is what he shared in regards to the hardware and features of it.
Hardware Feature Pros:
* It comes with Thunderbolt which allows the user to connect a thunderbolt-enabled laptop to the monitor. This allows you to connect your mouse, keyboard and other USB devices into the back of the monitor, which he said was convenient, as his laptop only has 2 USB connectors, when he really needs 4.
* You can adjust the monitor up or down, which is great if you are sitting down or get up and stand for calls.
* The remote control is handy to have and allows to you to switch between the laptop and watcing streaming on the smart monitor.
* The base of the monitor is small, so it gives the look of a sleek and small monitor - which is perfect for small spaces/office desks.
Cons:
* The cable management -- doesn't allow enough space to manage all the cables and hide them behind the monitor with ease. He has limited space as it is with his corner desk, and didn't like how the cables were falling out behind the monitor and taking up space on the desk.
Additional Product Features:
* It offers a setting that allows you to switch your monitor's lighting setting upon powering up and running. It helps with your eyes so it isn't too bright. This is great for those who spend long hours in front of the screen.
* The quality of the 4K UHD monitor is spectacular. When he is taking a break from work, my husband finds himself browsing the web or watching streaming movies in 4K. He said this is better than other monitors he has used, and he likes how this has the built in streaming capabilities. It is well worth the money in his eyes
* If you are a gamer this is a great monitor for you to use and switch back and forth between work and play.

Overall, my husband has been raving about his new M7 4K UHD Smart Monitor with Streaming TV from Samsung.
It was just the monitor he needed for his remote workspace, as well as a distraction when he needs to unwind after a long day. Samsung is a trusted brand in our house, and many of our appliances and electronics are from this brand. And, this smart monitor is no exception -- it is top notch, full of bells and whistles, and delivers on features, making it a stand out above competitive smart monitors. If you are in the market for a smart monitor, I highly recommend this one from Samsung. You will not be disappointed.
