Who doesn't love Scooby-Doo?  I grew up watching Scooby-Doo cartoons on television with my brothers, and now love watching these classic cartoons and the newly released movies with my own girls.  They never get old, and there is something about Scooby-Doo and Shaggy that draws kids and adults in, and keeps you engaged and entertained during an episode or movie.

The other day, I was surprised to find the new Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob Original Movie in my mailbox. I had forgot that it was releasing to DVD today, so it was a nice surprise to find, instead of bills. :-)  And, once my girls saw the DVD, they were quick to ask for a family movie night so that we could watch this Scooby-Doo movie, which is set back in Medieval Times.

Here is a little more about this original movie, along with the official trailer, in case you weren't aware of its release to DVD today from the folks at Warner Bros. Home Entertainment...

About this movie:

"Travel back in time to King Arthur’s court in this saga of wizards, knights, dragons…& Scooby-Doo! King Arthur needs the help of our favorite super sleuths to save his throne from an evil sorceress. This original movie serves up laughter on a platter, and Scooby and Shaggy are ready to dig in!"

My girls are currently studying Medieval Times and King Arthur's Court in our homeschooling, so they thought it was super cool that Scooby-Doo and Shaggy were in a fun-filled movie set in the time of King Arthur's Court.  Like with all Scooby-Doo! movies, this one was full of laughs and was a great movie to watch for a family movie night. We all love Scooby-Doo! and this movie didn't disappoint.  I highly recommend this movie, especially for Scooby-Doo! fans, young and old. We can't wait to watch this movie again, along with the 3 bonus cartoons, that make up the bonus section.
