I have always been a fan of the main characters in this upcoming Lionsgate release, based on the best selling, The Secret book, which has empowered millions of people to lead a happier and more fulfilled life. I loved Josh Lucas in Sweet Home Alabama, and watched Katie Holmes like so many others on Dawson Creek. So, when I heard last year that they would be starring alongside each other in this new movie based on The Secret book, I couldn't wait to see it. Like so many others, I have had a running list of movies I wanted to see in theaters. But, due to Covid, I am not rushing back to the movie theater even though they just opened in our area. I am so happy that theatrical releases are being made available for home viewing. And, best of all, I don't have to sneak in snacks or pay $40+ dollars for a movie date night, which also great.
Stay tuned later this week when I will share my review of this movie, as I watched it not once, but twice this past weekend, and LOVED it! I watched it first alone as I wasn't sure my husband would be up for this type of movie. But, then he saw the trailer and said it looked interesting. He is also a fan of Sweet Home Alabama and likes Josh Lucas, so he wanted to see if this movie ranked up there with his previous romantic hit movie...and, verdict is in...and my husband liked it, too!
In the meantime, I wanted to share more about the movie with you, including the official trailer and synopsis, as this movie is premiering on Premium VOD this Friday, July 31st, as well as share a fun and easy taffy recipe that they make in the movie.
