No TV or Sensors Required!

Has your town or city made the call yet for no school effective immediately?  Even though I homeschool my girls, many of their friends attend public school, and I have been watching with their parents as one by one surrounding schools and colleges are cancelling for up to 30 days because of the Coronavirus.  It seems like this pandemic that it is now called it cancelling everything and making people go crazy stocking up on everything, leaving store shelves bare.  Well, it is good to know that many people feel toilet paper is a hot commodity as they are asked to stay home due to all these cancellations.

With all the school closings, parents are not looking for things to do and places to put their kids, if they still must work.  I like seeing so many people step up and offer to watch kids, to help friends and family out, so that they don't use up all their vacation or sick time, with the unknown of what could be coming with the virus.  The girls are excited to have some of their friends coming over to play over the next few weeks.  It is like an unexpected vacation from school for many students and teachers.  All we can really do it take it in stride and know that there will be an end to all the craziness hopefully soon.  By taking all these precautions now, hopefully we will cut down on the number of cases we are seeing.  Crossing fingers.

So, what will we be doing when the girls' friends come over?  Well, thanks to a recent game sent our way, that has not only my two girls hooked, but also my husband and I, we will be playing ProjeX, a new projecting game arcade.

ProjeX is available now at Target and Walmart, as well as at https://www.projexgame.com/.  You don't have to worry about this game not being available, as most people are buying going up and down the paper products and dry foods aisles, and forgetting to get games and fun things to keep the whole family busy and entertained, when you find yourselves all under one roof for a prolonged period of time.

Instead of having everyone fighting or bored, games like ProjeX, will provide much needed fun and entertainment that kids and adults of all ages will love.  Like I said, we were recently sent this projecting game arcade, and after the first game, which was the duck hunt, everyone was hooked, and couldn't stop playing it.

Here is more about ProjeX Projection Gaming Arcade:

"Fun for the whole family, ProjeX features five games and three skill levels to keep players engaged.  A "beginner" setting accommodates even the youngest players in the room.

Change slides to change your level of difficulty:

    • Blue (targets) = easy
    • Red (UFOs) = medium
    • White (ducks) = difficult
The portable, battery-operated projector includes two blasters, which are stored right on the unit, a built-in LED scoreboard, and a place to keep image slides.

I was surprised and happy to find that this projection gaming arcade was easy to set up.  It literally only took a few minutes to locate 3 AA batteries to put in the base, and then read through the quick instruction card.  My girls ended up setting it all up on their own, and gave my husband and I a quick rundown on the three different games, how to set the gaming levels and player option, so that we were caught up to speed and could jump right in to play the games with them.  At first, I thought they were joking and that I would have to sit down and read how to project this game, etc., but they were right, it was so easy to set up and you are playing the ProjeX games in minutes.

The photo below shows everything you get in the box, including the base and three games that are easy to install and remove (simply push into the center top part of the projector, and pull out to change the games up -- no need to have them loaded like other gaming systems.  And, when the game is not being played, or only one gun is in play, you and store the guns in the base, making for an easy cleanup and storage of the game. :-)

And, because this game runs on batteries -- no electricity needed, it makes this a great portable game that can be played in the house, as well as outdoors.  This feature opens so many possibilities for upcoming summer fun when family and friends come for BBQ's and parties.  They can play the ProjeX projection gaming arcade in the kids' bedroom, our living room, or bring it outdoors and project it on the side of the house or garage.  All you need is a dark or space so that the targets show clearly for you to shoot.

I have to say, the first time I picked up one of the ProjeX guns, I felt like a kid again playing the duck hunt game.  And, when the ducks started popping up on our living room wall, my competitive side kicked in, and I wanted to hit all the targets. :-)  I didn't have to worry about keeping count of how many ducks I hit, or that my girls hit, as there is a counter right on the base that tracks each hit.  So, no need to worry about someone lying about how targets they successful hit, as the base score counter doesn't lie. :-)

Just look at my girls smiling, as they play ProjeX.  We have only had this game for about a week and half, but it has become a must play every day.

Usually the girls wake and play this in their bedrooms, instead of watching television.  And, when the evening rolls around, they prefer to battle against their Daddy or I, to see who can hit the most targets.  I love that gadgets, phones and the television are off, when playing with the ProjeX projection Gaming Arcade.  You really do get caught up in the game and how much fun it is, that you can lose track of time.  Just this evening, before I sat down to write up my review, we were competing against each other to see who could win each game.  I won the duck game, while my oldest daughter smoked us all in the UFO game.  My husband and youngest daughter kept tying with the bullseye target game. And, even though they kept trying to break the tie they had going, it didn't happen.  We had to call it a draw after 6 consecutive games of having a tie score.

Every time we play ProjeX, everyone is laughing, smiling and having a great time. I love how this projection gaming arcade is fun for both kids and adults. If you love family game nights like we do, the ProjeX is a fun new addition to the mix, that will have everyone wanting a turn, and getting competitive, as they try their best at hitting all the targets.  I could go on and on about just how much fun the ProjeX Projection Gaming Arcade game is, but, instead, why don't you pick it up and play it with your family.

Once you do, you will see why we love it so much, and can't get enough of it.  At only $49.99, you can't go wrong with this portable projection gaming arcade, which can be enjoyed at home, during summer camping trips, at a relative or friend's house, etc.  All you need is a dark room and flat wall and you are good to go.  So, with many schools and businesses closing up shop while we try to get a handle on the Coronavirus, why not pick up ProjeX to have ready to keep everyone happy and entertained?  This is one purchase you will be glad you made, and one game that your family will not grow tired of.
