Tonight, we took the girls to the DCU Center in Worcester, MA to see Cirque du Soleil AXEL, which opened tonight and is running shows through the weekend. WOW!!...what an amazing show! I have been to 10 Cirque du Soleil shows over the years, and have to say that AXEL is by far my favorite one. This show is so different than all the other ones we have seen, as it takes place on the ice, and combines acrobatics you are used to seeing when you attend Cirque du Soleil, along with figure skating. Oh yeah, and the music and acoustrics are also great!
Usually when I share a follow up post to a show I have attended, I will share all about in writing. Well, today, I am going to do something different. While I was watching the show and noting this to include in my post show write up, I found myself putting down my pen and picking up my phone to capture videos to share with my readers. So, I thougth I would share some of the videos I took to give you taste of what Cirque du Soleil AXEL is all about, and how this is a Cirque show not to be missed....

This is one show you really do have to check out if you live in a location where this show is making a stop. It truly is a family-friendly show that the whole family will love, and walk away talking about the show. We couldn't stop talking about our favorite parts and singing the songs from the show, as we drove back to CT. It was hard choosing a favorite part from the AXEL show as everything was amazing. From the start of the show, right up until the end, all eyes were glued to the center of the ice and up in the air, watching all the amazing and talented Cirque artists.
