Every Christmas, at the end of our book and video advent, I surprise my girls with a Christmas Eve box that Santa delivers to get the girls excited about Christmas. Included in the box is a new pair of pajamas, cocoa, cookie mix, fun Christmas-themed crafts, some small surprises, as well as reindeer dust for the to sprinkle on the lawn so Rudolph and the reindeer's can find our house.  This year, I am adding a fun coloring transfer book to the box, to go along with our annual Christmas Eve reading of The Night Before Christmas.

I have never seen a book like this activity book that includes transfers to add fun and festive embellishments to a classic holiday story.  Usually I will include a coloring book to our Christmas Eve Box, but I am really liking this one, as it is part coloring book, part craft book.  Once kids are done coloring the different scenes from Clement C. Moore's classic Christmas Eve tale, they can dress up the pages with the transfer sheets.  All they need to do to transfer the images from the transfer sheets is grab a pencil or pen and scratch over the image to transfer it.  It is that easy!  I remember using transfer sheets like these as a kid, and was so happy to find this fun activity/coloring book to share with my girls this Christmas Eve.

If you do Christmas Eve boxes in your house, or are looking for a fun activity/coloring book to keep your kids busy and entertained during the holidays, I highly recommend this book.  They will spend hours coloring the pages of this classic story, before deciding where the 1000 images from the transfer sheets should go where. And, once they are done coloring and adding the transfer images, this book can be enjoyed on Christmas Eve for for many more Christmas Eve's to come.  I can't wait to share this book with my girls, and I know they will love it, just as much as I do.
