I was so excited when we received the Harry Potter Labyrinth game to review, thanks to the folks at Ravensburger. I hate to admit it, but I am not that big into the whole Harry Potter craze. I have never picked up a book, and have sat for a few of the movies, in no particular order.  Even though I saw some of the movies, I really couldn't tell you about the whole Harry Potter world.  I do know the three main characters, Harry, Ron and Hermione, but that is about it.  But, if you were to ask my youngest daughter about Harry Potter, she could talk your ear off about it for hours, and will try and get you to sit and watch a movie with her.  She is all about Harry Potter, and has even started to read the big Harry Potter books.  We have started to incorporate Harry Potter into our homeschooling, but I have to make it fun as my oldest daughter is also not into Harry Potter.  We have done astronomy, magic potions and science, arts and crafts and a few others Harry Potter inspired themes/lessons, which have made our hands on learning more fun and enjoyable.

My youngest daughter has a handful of Harry Potter games including a trivia game that she loves to play. I think she loves the game as she know she can win when she plays against the rest of the family, as we aren't privy to all things Harry Potter.  So, when I saw the Harry Potter Labyrinth game on Amazon last month, I knew this would be a fun game to get and play during our weekly family game nights, as you don't need to know anything about Harry Potter to play.  It is just a board game that has you completing and changing paths, as you make your way around the board game, looking for characters to bring back to the school.

The kind folks at Ravensburger sent the Harry Potter Labyrinth board game for review a few weeks ago, and it has become a staple at our weekly game night.

Even my oldest daughter, who isn't a Harry Potter fan loves the game.  She loves that each time you play the game it is different, which makes it more fun. It only takes a few moments to read the directions and explain the game to players.  And, then the real fun begins, as you take turns moving all about the board game.

My youngest daughter told me the other day that this game is her favorite out of all the Harry Potter games she owns.  If you have a Harry Potter in your life, this is one game to look at picking up for the holidays, to gift them. My youngest daughter gives this game two thumbs up, and says it is a must have for Harry Potter fans, young and old.  She can't wait for game night tonight as this is the first game we will be playing...and maybe the only one, as we love doing a rematch with the game, every time we sit and play it.
