It is funny how as we got older our wish lists to Santa become different. As kids we fill our lists with toys that we hope to find under the tree. I love how the Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Dispenser has the option using the AC adapter included or using 4 D-Cell batteries to operate. If you have limited counter space and need to move this around, you don't have to worry about finding a spot on the counter that is near an outlet. Or, if you don't have extra outlets on the counter, the option of 4 D-Cell batteries would work for you. I ended up using the AC adapter that comes with the Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Dispenser, and loved that the cord was not long or bulky.
Setup of the Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Dispenser was also a breeze. All you have to do is plug it in or add the batteries, then open up the dispenser and add a roll of paper towels, close the door until you hear it click and lock closed, and then you are ready to go.
You simply wave your hand in front of the sensor on the side of the Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Dispenser, and paper towels are dispensed. After you tear the first sheet at the perforation, the dispenser retracts the excess, and learns how much paper towel to dispense after that.

The Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Dispenser really is a nifty kitchen gadget. Even my 8 and 9 year old girls were excited to try it out and thought it was cool. I told them, "See kitchen gadgets can be cool, too...and, much better than toys!" While I don't think they bought the "better than toys" line, they both agreed that it was a great product, and loved that we now have this in the kitchen to use when needing paper towels.
Like me, they were getting tired of our old paper towel holder that kept falling over when they tugged to tear the paper towels, or would turn and let out too much paper towel sheets, leaving them to have to wind the excess back up. With the Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Dispenser you can tear one sheet, or keep your hand in front of the sensor to have more sheets dispensed. And, any excess paper towel sheets left are retracted back into the dispenser, so you don't have to worry about paper waste, or seeing excess paper towels dangling outside of the dispenser.
I could go on and on about how great the Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Dispenser is, and how it has become a must have gadget in my kitchen. Just knowing that I am cutting down on cross contamination and creating less waste, makes this a great product to have in the kitchen, But, once you try it out and see how it works, you will think it is cool and want one for yourself. I am not saying this because my girls and I love it. We had family and friends over this afternoon and after the girls demoed the dispenser, everyone had to take turns trying it out...and they all thought it was the neatest thing.
