Did your kids travel on an airplane for the first time this year?  If they did, did you have to take an airport train to get to to the airport?  If your kids experienced the fun of flying on an airplane, or even taking a train ride for the first time this summer, they will love reliving that enjoyment with this cute accordion-fold out style board book from Nichole Mara.  My girls have yet to fly on a plane, as my youngest get car sit very easily.  I have been holding off on airplane rides, as I don't want her to have a bad first experience and not want to fly again, as well as not have to deal with a sick child on a crowded plane, with the chance of waiting on the tarmac, etc.  Even though my girls have never taking a plane ride, they have done train rides.  So, they could relate to the different things featured in this cute and oh so unique board book.

This is not your usually lift the flap board book for kid to enjoy...oh no...once you start reading the book and folding out the pages, it will extend almost 4 feet.  My girls were both sitting and looking with amazement the first time we read this book together.  As I started to fold out the pages and the book grew and grew, they wondered just how far the book will extend out.  And, when they weren't watching the book unfold accordion style, they were having a blast with the fun seek and find and counting elements that fill the pages of this cute new book for kids, ages 3+.

In addition to this new book by Nichole Mara, there are two other books from the author, that are also worth checking out include a fun "All Aboard! The Christmas Train," which would be a fun book to share as part of your family's holiday book advent, or before your first "Polar Express" train ride.  Seeing just how much my girls loved the All Aboard! The Airport Train book, I will definitely be picking up the 'The Christmas Train" and "Let's Ride a Train" books from the author, to share with them.

If your kids love seek and find books, lift the flap books, or books that accordion fold out, then you will want to pick up this fun book all about traveling on an airport train, to share with them.  My girls can't get enough of this book, and continually ask me to read it to them, or will grab it from the book shelf to read and enjoy on their own.  I know your kids will love it, too!
