Bluff your Way to Winning in FLUFF - The Exciting New Dice Game for Families from Bananagrams (Review)

Disclosure: I was sent a sample from the vendor in exchange for an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

I just shared a review of Word-A-Melon, a fun memory and word-building game, both kids and adults will love playing.  My family is hooked on this game, as well as Fluff, another fun game that comes from the folks behind the bestselling and ever popular BANANAGRAMS game. If you missed my Word-A-Melon review, you can learn all about this word building game, that is perfect for kids ages 6+, and for 2-4 players.

(Also available at Walmart)

The kind folks at BANANAGRAMS, Inc. sent me Fluff, a fun dice game that will put your bluffing skills to the test. :-)  Here is a quick video showing how this game is played...

Doesn't this look like a fun game?  At first, I wasn't sure if my girls would get the game, but I was wrong...and, boy are they good at bluffing.  More times that not they had be fooled on the bids they were calling out.  And, when they weren't giggling, they were smiling as I lost dice after dice, until I lost.

This game, which is geared towards kids ages 8+, can be played with 2-4 players.  You get all the supplies you need including the cups, which also act as storage for each of the players colored dice, and they store in an easy to store and transport game box.

Just like with the Word-A-Melon game, I showed my girls the above "How to Play" video and then followed up by reading the instructions on the inside of the game box.  The girls said they understood how to play and were eager to play.

I consider myself a good poker player, but I seemed to be less dice savvy when it came to calling fluff with this game.  Each and every time I called out a bid, my girls could see right through my bluffing.  My youngest said she knew I was bluffing by the way I smirked, and my oldest said, I could raise my eyebrows when I was lying.  I guess I have to look in the mirror and practice my bluffing skills if I want a chance at winning at least one game of Fluff with them. :-)

We played this game along with Word-A-Melon this past Saturday night as part of our family game night, and everyone, including my husband, who is not a big dice game fan, had a blast.  While we used our memory and spelling skills with the Word-A-Melon game, there was not much skill needed for Fluff.  All you needed to be is a good fluffer outlaw (a.ka. bluffer).

Can you lie your way through a dice bid, and not have others pick up on your fluffing?  Pick up Fluff and see if you can do a better job than I did, at beating your kids. :-)  Good luck!
