I love this time of year as my favorite candy companies release some of their customer favorites, as well as new candies for all the enjoy. And, with Halloween fast approaching, R.M. Palmer is not disappointing with their 2018 selection of Halloween candy, which will be a hit with trick-or-treaters and chocolate lovers like myself. :-)  Even though we don't do door to door trick-or-treating in the town we live in, the girls still give out candy to friends, through Halloween parties at co ops and homeschool groups they are apart of, as well as with their Girl Scouts and other extra-curricular classes.  So, I still need to stock up on candy that I know kids will love, while also keeping in mind that any extras I get to enjoy. :-)

This year, the girls wanted to create fun party favors to give out at their Girl Scouts and a homeschool party they were going to.  After receiving a sampling of R.M Palmer's new candy for this Halloween, the girls, along with the help of a Pinterest post they found, came up with the best favor to hand out.  And, the best part...it was so easy to make.  They were able to print out the labels, and counted out the chocolate eyeballs (yes, I said eyeballs) and added the label to the Ziploc bag.  I loved seeing them get into making these favors, which they would hand out to friends the following week.  Just take a look at what the girls made, and that your family can to, if you have to send your kids into school or to a Halloween party with a favor or candy treat to hand out...

We found this free printable template online to print out

Then we gathered up our stapler, snack size Ziploc bags, our Googly Eyes from R.M. Palmer..and were ready to go.

Just look at cool these chocolate eyeballs look, veins and all!

And, they tasted even better. :-)

And, this is what the final product looked like.

We found this basket at the Dollar Store, and it really came in handy to store these cute party favors

More photos of the girls hard at work :-)

They had fun counting out the 8 eyeball chocolates and sampling the extra :-)

Gotta love this smile...both of my girls were proud of their party favors, and how they were able to do it themselves, and use their favorite R.M. Palmer chocolates.

Like I said, I was sent a sampling of R.M Palmer's new and customer favorites to enjoy, and that my family has been doing.  My girls are chocolate lovers like me, and loved taste testing the the crisp chocolate and other chocolate treats in the different bags we were sent.  Just look at their smiles holding up all the R.M Palmer chocolate...then, imagine these smiles even bigger and with chocolate on their lips...this is what the girls looked like after sampling these delicious melt in your mouth and finger licking good chocolates. :-)

It was hard to choose a favorite of the new Halloween candy releases.  But, if I had to choose, I would say it was the eyeball chocolates, partly because I liked the party favors the girls created, and we kept sampling them as the girls were making them. :-)
