Let Peppa Pig Get Your Little Ones Ready for Halloween with These Cute Treats, Books and More... (Review)

Disclosure:  I was sent samples from the vendor in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

It isn't a holiday in our house without the presence of Peppa Pig.  And, this Halloween is no exception.  A couple weeks ago, we were sent a box of Halloween goodies as part of the Peppa Pig Parent program, and the girls couldn't wait to tear open the box to see what was inside.

Just look at the fun Peppa Pig stuff we were sent....my personal favorite is the basket to hold all your candy, which can also be saved for Easter (per my oldest daughter's observation and comment)...

My girls love the Peppa Pig Shortbread Cookies, which have the letters, A,B, or C on them.  I have shared in a few past Peppa Pig product blog posts about these delicious made in the USA cookies.

They are great if you are hosting a Peppa Pig birthday party like we did a couple years back, to add to favor bags, or just have in a basket on table for guests to grab and enjoy.  I make a point to have these cookies in our pantry for the girls to grab for a snack mid-day or to add to their snack bags for outside the school programs where a snack is needed.  And, this Halloween I have decided to add these to our Halloween treat basket for kids to grab if they don't want or can have the candy we have on hand.  They are made in a nut-free facility, which nut allergy families will like.  Just the other day my girls were enjoying these cookies at a nature hike we were on, and another mom saw the package and that is was made in a nut-free facility.  She was all happy as her girls also love Peppa Pig like my two girls, and they both have peanut allergies. She was going to pick up some of these cookies to share with them, and to have on hand for Halloween for others she knows who stop by the house and have peanut allergies.  I love being able to introduce other families to products and snacks so that their family can enjoy, too!

In addition to the shortbread cookies, you can see that two Halloween-themed books were included in the box.

"Peppa finds that choosing the right costume can be a bit tricky in this Halloween treat for fans old and new.

What should Peppa Pig be for Halloween? She has lots of costume ideas, but her friends seem to have thought of everything already. Should Peppa be a pirate? No, Danny Dog is dressing up as a pirate — with an eye patch and everything! What about a nurse? No, that’s Suzy Sheep’s costume. Can Peppa pull together a Halloween costume that’s perfectly Peppa Pig and perfect for her favorite activity — in time for trick-or-treating?"

The book jacket opens up to reveal a fun coloring poster for kids to color and display!

My girls really enjoyed this book and can relate to Peppa as they usually struggle to decide what to dress up as when Halloween rolls around each year.  They come up with these great ideas, but then they can't seem to find the costume they had in mind, or a friend is already being it and they want to be different.  This is such a fun read, and will get kicks in the Halloween spirit.  What will Peppa Pig finally decide to be for Halloween, or will she just not go trick-or-treating?  You will just have to pick up this book to find out for yourself. :-)

Even though this is not a Peppa Pig book, it is probably a show your child watches, as it is also on Nick Jr and from the creators of Peppa Pig. It is a favorite show among Peppa fans, including my girls.

"Ben and Holly are having fun playing superheroes with their friends -- but then Strawberry the supervillain covers the Little Kingdom in snow. It's up to Fairy Girl and Elf Man to save the day! This story with stickers is based on the Nick Jr. TV show, from the creators of Peppa Pig.

Ben and Holly live in the Little Kingdom, a tiny land where flowers and grass rise above even the tallest towers. Holly is a young fairy princess who is still learning to control her magic -- which sometimes gets her in some sticky situations! Her best friend, Ben the elf, doesn't have magical powers, but he's great at making toys and always ready for adventure."

Like I said, my girls love Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom, which also airs on Nick Jr. and is from the creator of the hit animated series Peppa Pig.  What caught my girls' eyes about this book was that it contained stickers.  Come on, what kid doesn't love stickers?  They ended up making their own Ben and Holly sticker scenes and made up a story based on their pictures, thanks to these fun stickers, which are included in the back of the book.  Fans of Ben & Holly's Little Kingdom will love this book, and adding it to their growing book collection.

If these two books and the box of shortbread cookies, weren't enough, the girls were all smiles when they pulled the packs of Peppa Pig Pop Ups! Lollipop from Flix Candy, which come with 3 Chupa Chups lollipops to load into the holder.

As a parent I love lollipop holders like this, as they Peppa Pig head closes around the pop to keep it clean and from not laying on a table or other surface where it can leave behind a sticky residue or pick up germs.  And, if my girls drop the holder, it closes and keeps the pop clean.  Included with the cute Peppa Pig pop holder are the following three flavored Chupa Chups lollipops -- strawberry, watermelon and cherry.  My girls both agree that watermelon was their favorite of the three flavors.

And, like I said in the beginning, my favorite surprise from this Peppa Pig Halloween Goodie box was the Peppa Pig head Trick or Treat bucket, which is only $9.99.

The girls got a good giggle out of the big nose on the basket. But, then they started to fight over who was going to keep it and carry it around on Halloween night.  Thankfully, we have two different Halloween trick-or-treat events, so both girls will get a chance to tote around this cute Peppa Pig basket to gather up their candy and treats.

With Halloween right around the corner -- 10 days to be exact -- now is the time to make last minute candy, costume, and decoration purchases.  While at the store, why not consider picking up some of these fun Peppa Pig Halloween-themed goodies? My girls really enjoyed this box of treats, and are now ready for Halloween thanks to the Peppa Pig treats and books included.
