Are you planning an upcoming Halloween party at your house, or have to make something for your kids to bring to school or a party they are attending?  If you said, "Yes," to any of these, and are finding yourself with little or no time to bake or whip up something, don't fret at the folks at have you covered, for all your Halloween treats and gift needs.

I have been shopping for awhile now, and this online gourmet gift site is usually my go-to store when I need to sent a gourmet treat or gift basket to family and friends, near and far. The selection of gifts from is always top notch, and I have yet to have a person I have sent a gift from tell me they were disappointed.  Usually they will thank me as they find themselves visiting the site and ordering their gourmet gifts for holidays or to give as special occasion gifts.

This past Friday, I was surprised to receive in the mail the new Happy Halloween Cookie Cake from, and couldn't help but smile when I pulled the 12-inch decorated Halloween cookie out of the box.

"This bewitching Halloween treat is impossible to resist! We've taken our 12-inch chocolate chip cookie cake and hand decorated with spookily sweet vanilla frosting, creating a delicious dessert your recipient is sure to go batty for!'

My girls came over to the kitchen to see what I was looking and let out a scream of excitement when they saw this cookie.  They asked if you could really it.  And, when I said, "Yes," their next question was "When?"

This gourmet cookie treat couldn't have come at a better time as we were having a Halloween-themed movie night complete with everyone's favorite "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," as well as a few other short movies to get everyone ready for Halloween, which is only 10 days away.

I was trying to decide what to make for dessert, but didn't have to pull out the cookbooks as the folks at saved the day and time in the kitchen, so that I could spend it instead with my family.  :-)  After dinner Friday night, I brought out the Happy Halloween Cookie Cake from and asked everyone what piece of the cookie they wanted when I cut slices.  My girls both asked for the pumpkin, and my husband said any part would be fine -- but, to get to it, as his mouth was watering just looking at this huge chocolate chip cookie. :-)

So, how did the Happy Halloween Cookie Cake taste?  AMAZING!!!!

The orange-tinted vanilla frosting, paired with the soft, chewy chocolate chip cookie make for the best movie night dessert.  I was planning to serve it alongside with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, but I am glad I didn't as everyone got full with the slices I gave. :-)  And, as you can imagine with a cookie this big, there were leftovers, which we have been enjoying for breakfast and snack this weekend with a nice cold glass of milk, Yum!  I am getting hungry just thinking about this cookie, and will probably go cut a small slice to eat -- when no one is looking -- or I will have to share if they see me! :-)

So, take the guesswork out of what to make for an upcoming Halloween party you are hosting or have to bring a snack to by heading over to and checking out their new and popular Halloween treats, which you can still order and get in time for October 31st or earlier.   Here are just a few of their gourmet gifts and treats available for Halloween, that would make you the hit of the party, and the coolest mom ever! :-)
