DISNEY DUCKTALES THE SERIES: DESTINATION ADVENTURE! (HOME VIDEO RELEASE)

Bring Home Over 2 Hours of Humor on Disney DVD June 5th!

I grew up watching DuckTales, and was excited when I heard Disney was coming out with a new version of the popular series for kids. I couldn't wait to introduce my girls to Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey and Louie, but I was secretly excited to want to see how this new animated series differed from the one I grew up watching. While my girls know Scrooge McDuck from the classic Christmas animated movie, they had no idea there was a series around this grouch and his three nephews.

So, we tuned into Disney and watched the new series, and after the first episode aired, my girls were hooked, especially my youngest daughter, who has turned out to be a bigger DuckTales fan than I was (and still am).  She is hoping for her upcoming birthday in November to get some DuckTales toys so that they can act out her favorite scenes from the different episodes of the popular Disney animated series, and now from the new DVD release, which arrives in stores today.

Disney Ducktales: Destination Adventure! includes the following 6 full-length episodes, which have already aired on Disney...

Episodes:
  • The Beagle Birthday Breakout!
  • The Living Mummies of Toth-Ra!
  • The Impossible Summit of Mt. Neverrest!
  • The Spear of Selene!
  • The Missing Links of Moorshire!
  • Beware the B.U.D.D.Y. System!*

In addition to these episodes you will also get to enjoy two classic DuckTales episodes that have not been released to DVD, until now.  I was super excited about this bonus content and couldn't wait to check out with my girls.

Bonus Content:

2 Classic DuckTales Episodes - New Gizmo-Kids on the Block and Ducky Mountain High

---

With over 135 minutes of DuckTales fun, this is a must-have for fans of the new animated series from Disney.  My girls and I have only had the DVD for a few days, but have already watched all 6 episodes from the new series, as well as the two classic episodes, a few times. And, tomorrow my girls plan to bring in the car and watch while we travel for a class.  I know they will not be asking "Are we there yet?" as they will be entertained the whole drive, watching this new DVD release.

So, if you are looking for a more enjoyable summer trip in the car with your kids and have a DVD player, you will want to pick up this new DVD release, as it will keep the DuckTales fan in your life entertained and happy.  :-)
