When is this snow going to stop?  We had another Nor'easter today, which brought almost 20 inches of snow.  Thankfully we didn't lose power like the last time, but did have a big tree fall in the backyard, barely missing our back deck and house.  While the snow was falling outside, we used today as a snow day for school. The girls played for most of the day, before we settled in to watch television together.  Due to the snow, my husband was home, so the girls were excited to have him sit with them and watch a few more episodes of the LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures Complete Season Two DVD (which  is available in stores today) with them.

This DVD includes 12 action-packed episodes, as well as 5 thrilling bonus shorts.  You will even find a cute exclusive Darth Vader Pin inside the packaging.  My husband was quick to call dibs on the pin the other when the girls opened the package.  He loves Darth Vader and has a handful of Star Wars toys in his cubicle at work, so he was excited to add this pin to his wall there.

The second and final season follows Rowan, Kordi and Zander as they are thrown into battle after they join up with the Rebels! Bring home the out-of-this-galaxy adventure on DVD today!

This is the second and final season of this Emmy®-nominated animated television series, which is set between Stars Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and focuses on the three Freemaker siblings as they explore new worlds, meet new characters and Star Wars icons, and have unforgettable adventures.  This action-packed series follows Kordi, Zander and Rowan, along with the Rebels, as they work together after being thrown into battle.  From the get-go this season will pull you in and have you hooked on the animated series.  Even if you missed season one, which I highly recommend you go back and watch if you missed, you can pick up with this new DVD and follow along with an out-of-this-galaxy adventure.  The entire DVD has 256 minutes of content, so you will find yourself wanting to split it up over a few days to really enjoy all the episodes.  We have been watching 3 episodes a day, and are on our last day (day 4) of watching this new DVD.  My girls can't get enough of this series.  Even though they have already watched the twelve full-length episodes that make up this new DVD, they are so excited to watch them again, especially with my husband with them on the couch, so that they can talk his ear off about the characters, story plot and what is going to come next.

If you have a LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures fan in your life, then you will want to pick up this new Season 2 DVD, available in stores today.  This DVD would also make a great Easter basket filler, if you are looking for a non-candy gift to add to your child's basket.

More about this new DVD release:

"In season two of “LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures,” the three Freemaker siblings—Rowan, Kordi and Zander—have found a new home with the Rebel fleet. Fans who bring home the second and final season will enjoy all 12 action-packed episodes plus five bonus shorts that follow the Freemakers as they are thrown into battle after they join up with the Rebels – including an adventure that has them embarking on a daring mission to save two of the Rebellion’s finest heroes: Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca. Bonus shorts include:

• Home One
• Thrown Into Battle
• Rowan's Secret Adventure
• Zander Freemaker, Superstar Pilot Guy

Together, they explore new worlds, meet new characters and Star Wars icons, and have unforgettable adventures."
