What shows are watching on television, or are looking forward to their return in the fall?  Right now I am using the summer when most shows are on break to catch up with episodes missed, which sadly is a lot.  Ever since having kids, I find it harder to keep up with shows.  I usually find myself getting really into a particular show and looking for new episodes each week, only to have to record them and hope I can catch the episode before a new one airs. But, such is life, these new episodes pile up and I find myself without enough free time to catch up.  One show that I really like but have fallen behind on is Supergirl.  I was a huge Melissa Benoist fan back when she was singing on Glee, and was excited to see her catch as the lead in the hit series, Supergirl.  The never missed an episode in the first season, but the second season I was lucky to watch the first three out of 22 episodes. So, I had a lot of catching up before the much anticipated Season 3 begins.

Such is my luck, that when I finally found time this summer to binge watch the missed episodes, I find my shows were erased first to make room for the girls' cartoons, some of which they don't watch anymore.  What was I to do?  Thankfully, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment was there to save the day with the upcoming Supergirl: The Complete Second Season on Blu-rayTM and DVD, which hits stores shelves tomorrow, as well as through online retailers.  I was sent a review copy and have been busy most night watching all 22 episodes.  I have about five more left, and then I will be all caught up.  And, I have to say that of what I have seen so far, season 2 is my favorite of the Supergirl series.  I was on the end of my seat for most of the episodes and can't wait to finish the remaining full-length one hour episodes so I can watch the bonus features including the 2016 comic con panel, • A Conversation with Andrew Kreisberg and Kevin Smith and Did You Know facts for fans, to name a few.

Here is more about this upcoming DVD release, including the 22 episode list and bonus features...
