WILD KRATTS: PANDA-MONIUM
ARRIVES ON DVD April 11th

Wild Kratts: Wild Kratts: Panda-monium DVD

PBS KIDS Series WILD KRATTS Helps Kids Learn Science
by Exploring Animals and Their “Creature Powers”

This DVD couldn't have come at a better time, as the girls are all about Wild Kratts thanks to a recent visit out the CT Science Center in Hartford, CT when they got to meet Jimmy and Aviva, and created their very own Creature Communicator and Creature Power Discs.  In addition to meeting Jimmy and Aviva, they also got to sit for a fun Wildlife Encounters stage show.  After attending this fun Wild Kratts event, the girls came home and pulled out all their Wild Kratts DVDs, toys and books to enjoy.  And, the following day this advance DVD copy arrived at our door, for the girls to help me review.  They were so excited and couldn't wait to watch it.

This upcoming DVD release contains eh following four full-length episodes:
  • Panda Power Up!
  • Red Panda Rescue
  • The Colors of China
  • Snowy Owl Invasion

My girls love panda bears, and we learned all about them in January as part of our homeschool learning.  So, it was nice to revisit this topic with them as a fun refresher.  In this new DVD, the Kratt brothers save giant pandas from the evil Zach Varmitech, help reunite a lost red panda with its mom, and save animals captured in China from the villain Donita Donata.  Sounds like fun, huh?  You can always expect an wild adventure when you tune in to the Wild Kratts daily on PBS Kids or when you sit down and watch a Wild Kratts DVD with with your child.  My girls loved this DVD and have already watched it half a dozen times since we received it a couple weeks ago.

If you have a Wild Kratts fan in your life, why not consider picking up this DVD when it hits store shelves on April 11th and add it to their Easter basket?  Or, simply pick up and add it to your child's growing Wild Kratts DVD collection.  I have lost count of how many DVDs from this popular series my girls have. They can watch them over and over again without getting bored, and love learning about all the different creatures from around the world.

More about this upcoming release:

"PBS Distribution announced today it is releasing the new DVD “WILD KRATTS: PANDA-MONIUM.” Viewers will join Chris and Martin Kratt as they learn about the amazing creature features of giant pandas, red pandas, and other incredible animals. In four action-packed adventures, the brothers save giant pandas from the evil Zach Varmitech, find an adorable little lost red panda and help to reunite her with her mother, save animals captured in China from the villain Donita Donata, and more!
PANDA-MONIUM will be available on DVD April 11, 2017. The DVD run time is approximately 120 minutes and its SRP is $14.99. The episodes included on this DVD are listed below.

Panda Power Up!
While checking out the endangered giant panda, the Wild Kratts get stranded in the bamboo forests of China without having power for any of their vehicles or equipment. They must figure out how to ‘power up’ in time to help save the pandas, who are being turned into roboticized stuffed toys by the nefarious villain, Zach Varmitech. An ‘ancient panda secret’ just might lead to the creature power that will restart their engines and save the pandas.

Red Panda Rescue
Chris finds a little lost Red panda, but before she can be reunited with her mother, Zach steals her as a birthday present for Donita Donata. It’s Wild Kratts to the rescue!

The Colors of China
While hanging out with golden pheasants in China, Martin and Chris wonder how important color is for creatures. But when Donita Donata begins to steal animals and remove their color, they soon discover just how critical it is for survival. It’s a race to stop Donita and get color back into the creature world!

Snowy Owl Invasion
Martin and Chris are hanging out in China with their giant panda friend Stuffo when they receive reports of snowy owls showing up all over North America. Since these raptors live in the Arctic, it’s up to the Wild Kratts to solve the mystery of the snowy owl invasion!

WILD KRATTS transforms the Kratt Brothers, creators of the award-winning “Kratts’ Creatures” and Emmy-winning “Zoboomafoo,” into animated versions of themselves, allowing the real-life zoologists to visit wild animals in their little-seen habitats and showcase key science concepts along the way. From elephants using physics to suck gallons of water with their trunks to a fleet of peregrine falcons that harness the force of gravity to speed through the air, each episode of WILD KRATTS presents age-appropriate science inspired by the natural abilities of the animals that the Kratt Brothers – and young viewers – meet. WILD KRATTS airs daily on PBS KIDS (check local listings)."
