Trust Your Own Instincts When It Comes to Your Baby #ParentOn

Did you have a long and stressful week?  Maybe something in the house went on the fritz, the car broke, or you forget to make snacks for your child's school bake sale?  Well, sit back and relax and watch this oh so funny video from Tommee Tippee, that will leaving you laughing and saying goodbye to your stress and hello to the weekend...

Everyone has opinions about your baby. We've figured out what to do with them. #ParentOn

I remember when I first found out I was pregnant with our first daughter, Savannah, back in 2009, everyone was quick to recommend books and baby products for us to pick up.  I was so overwhelmed with the notion of being a first time mom and doing it right.  If only these people told me that this feeling was normal and there really isn't a right or wrong way to parent...you simple have to trust your instincts.

The first time I saw the above video I couldn't stop laughing.  Then, I played it again and again and quickly shared it with my girlfriends who could relate.  It made me think back to people stopping me in the street to recommend shoes or even a pacifier for my daughter, or show me the "correct" way to carry her in the wrap I had her in.  Back then I would have the nerve to say "Thanks for your suggestions, but I have got this."  Instead, I must have looked lost or needing advice or recommendations.

But, then 15 months later we welcomed Arabella, and we were no longer first time parents, and I was also not shy in graciously declining baby must haves or techniques.  What works for some people, doesn't work for others.  As long as baby and mom are happy, that should be all that counts and matters.  And, thanks to the folks at Tommee Tippee for creating a fun, yet true video for moms, to show them they are right in wanting to trust their own instincts when it comes to their babies.  I was a lover of all their baby products long before this video came out and continue to support and buy product from them, as they are a trusted brand I stumbled upon and love, as do my girls.

From bottle feeding and breastfeeding supplies, to diapering and soothing products, all the way up to cups and feeding supplies, the folks at Tommee Tippee have you and baby covered. They create each and every product with baby and mom in mind, as a way to make parenting easier and less stressful.

My girls went through their different bottles they had when they were feeding, and their 360 degree sealer diaper disposal system was a huge lifesaver (no more pee yeh smell in or near the diaper pail).

A new twist on diaper disposal

And, don't get me started on the pacifiers.  They saved the day with teething, helping my girls soothe themselves when they had tummy trouble or were not in good moods, and helped save our ears from those piercing baby cries, that just pull at your heartstrings.

Now that my girls are older, they can't leave the house without their favorite Tommee Tippee insulated sipper cups, or grab one filled with ice cold water from the fridge to sip on while they play.

I can't help but smile whenever I see them with their cups, as it reminds me instantly of the video I shared above and how I wasn't the only one who had unsolicited baby advice shared, and how I wished I could have told them what to do with it.  Instead, Tommee Tippee did it for me in a fun way! :-)

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and #ParentOn!
