Staying Organized with Appointments and Kids' Activities Thanks to My Homemaker's Friend Daily Planner (Review)

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Being a busy mom on the go, I rely heavily on daily planners to keep me organized and help me plan out my weekly schedules with the girls.  From gymnastics and music classes to arts and crafts and other classes, we are always on the go with the girls, driving from one place to another for an activity or event.  And, with the warmer months upon us, our weekends are filled with family-friendly events that I am covering for my blog, to share with you all.

Just last night over dinner, I was talking to my husband about how we are booked up for the next four weeks, with events or activities to do each day. If it wasn't for my daily planners, I would surely show up to a venue on the wrong date/time, or totally forget about a class or activity that the girls were signed up to attend.  But, when it comes to daily planners, I am very particular in the ones that I like to use.  How about you?

For one, I like daily planners that are spiral bound, making them easily to open, and keep opened on the kitchen counter.  And, I need to have a lot of space on each day to write down one or more appointments.  I also look for daily planners that include an overall of each month, so that I can quickly turn to it when making appointments or checking available dates.  Bonus features include an area for birthday or important dates to remember, a to-do list section, shopping list and extra blank pages for quick note taking.

I have purchased dozens of planners over the years in hopes to find the perfect one for me.  Well, I think I have finally found my daily planner thanks to the Homemaker's Friend Daily Planner, 2014 & 2015 Daily Planners samples I was recently sent for review.  These planners included everything I look for in a daily planner.  But, unlike others I have used in the past, these planners have easy to access tabs that break up the different sections, including a year's overall, a month's overall, and the weekly calendar section.

In addition to the different calendar layouts, these planners also includePerforated Shopping List, Task List and Project & Events Sections, and Information section for short-term information -- all in this handy and oh so durable spiral planner, that is 5.75 x 8.75.

The covers are filled with blooming flowers, which are very appealing to the eyes and look like when closed on the counter or your office desk.

To add to these lovely daily planners, each section begins with a Proverb, and proverbs fill each blank weekly calendar area.  What a way to start the week than to read uplifting proverbs.

And, at only $17.99 for the two planners, you can't go wrong with a daily planner that will come in handy all year round.  I am so glad I had the opportunity to review the Homemaker's Friend Daily Planner, as I no longer have to worry about searching for and trying out different daily planners each year.

And, come next year, I will be ready with my 2015 Daily Planner, thanks to the sample I was sent to review.

Even though we are four months into the year, doesn't mean you can't pick up a new daily planner to use.  If you find yourself struggling to keep dates and appointments in order, or are a busy mom like me, who is always on the go and needs to be at different places throughout the week with the kids, why not make your life less stressful by staying organized with a daily planner.  I like to leave my daily planner on the kitchen counter in plain sight, so that I can look at it whenever I need to, or if the phone rings and I need to pencil in an appointment.  Without my daily planner handy, I would be lost, and would surely miss or show up late to appointments or classes with the girls.  But, thanks to the Homemaker's Friend Daily Planner from Vision Publishers, my hectic life is more manageable and organized, which is a great relief to me.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
