My Thoughts:

My husband was a huge fan of Danny Phantom, when it used to air on Nickelodeon.  I remember he used to ask me to record this show when he would work back in the day, so that he could watch it later.  I never could get why he and so many others loved this show.  Were you a fan of the show?

The story followed a ninth grader named Danny, who walked into a ghost portal at the wrong time and was turned into a ghost phantom.  On the few occasions I sat down to watch this show with my now husband, I found myself feeling bad for Danny as she was a shy kid and was being bullied in school.  It didn't help that his parents were weird.  There is so violence in this show, and I would not recommend it for the younger audience.  But, fans of shows like Spongebob Squarepants and The Fairly Odd Parents will find a similar feel when watching Danny Phantom.

My husband was excited when I surprised him with the complete series 10-DVD set for Christmas.  He always hoped this television show would wind up on DVD so that he could re-live this great show.  So, when he saw this was the complete series, all 53 action packed episodes, he was over the moon, and couldn't wait to watch each and every one. 

If you were a fan of Danny Phantom when it used to air on Nick, or know someone who was...this upcoming complete series DVD set would make for a great gift idea.
