My Thoughts:

The other night, I had a few friends over for a "Girls Night In."  We have all been dealing with sick children, so it was nice to get together, sip a glass or two of wine, have some girl talk and watch sappy movies, as a way to unwind and recharge our mommy batteries.  I had a selection of chick flicks, as well as a few new releases including this new 4-pack of Holiday Movies, which have previously aired on the Lifetime Channel.  Everyone unanimously chose the Lifetime Holiday 4-Film Collection to watch.  We didn't think we would sit through the entire 4 movies, but once they started, we couldn't stop watching.  There is something about the movies that air on the Lifetime Channel that draw you in.  Yeah, some may be far fetched or silly to watch, but I find myself still watching them.

I can't tell you how great these movies were.  They really did get my girlfriends and I into the holiday spirit.  And, with around 50 days left until Christmas, we are already making our Black Friday shopping plans and mapping out our strategies on which stores to hit first, etc. :-)  It was great getting the girls together to watch these Lifetime holiday movies, as I know my husband would never sit through them with me.  I can't wait until my mom comes for Thanksgiving, as it will give me an excuse to watch this DVD set again with her. :-)
