Can you believe that there are only 13 more Saturdays until Christmas? I know, crazy, huh? I started asking my girls what they wanted to Santa to bring them for under the tree, and they both "chimed" in and asked for Tickety Toc toys. What is Tickety Toc you ask?

I recently had the opportunity to review the new 'Chime Time Adventures" DVD which released from Anchor Bay Entertainment. I was able to review this DVD before it was released in stores because I was named a VIP Tick Tocketeer!. Perks of being a Tickety Toc Ambassador, besides being able to rave about a show my kids and I already love watching, is that I get to try out new toys from the Tickety Toc toy line from Zodiak Kids, available at Toys R Us, in addition to DVD releases.

Like I said, being a VIP Tick Tocketeer! I was able to try out a few of the new Tickety Toc toys with my girls. I was sent the new Tickety Toc Floor Puzzle from Mega Brands, the Tommy and Tallulah Mini Plush dolls, as well as the Tommy Talking Doll. The toys couldn't have come at a better time, as the girls are yet again sick with a head cold. I don't know what it is. Before kids, I always thought that the cold season was only during the winter. But, since kids, my girls seem to always be sick, year round. This summer alone, we in the house during the two heat waves, not because it was too hot to be outside, but because the girls picked up either a stomach bug or head cold, and spent their time resting on the couch. Not fun.
But, last week, when the UPS driver (who Savannah now calls Santa), dropped off an oversized box at the door, the girls sat up on the couch and took notice. As I started to pull out the dolls and floor puzzle, they mustered up enough energy to come over and check out the Tickety Toc goodies. Thankfully, we received two of the mini plush dolls, as it would have been hard to give a talking doll to one and a non-talking doll to another. Even though they have been sick, they still like to bicker when things don't go their way, or they want a toy the other one has. Go figure! :-)
The two mini plush Tommy and Tallulah dolls have become a staple in each girl's bed, and are carried around wherever they go. As for the floor puzzle, our puzzle genius Savannah has been loving this Tickety Toc puzzle from Mega Brand. And, because the puzzle pieces are large, Arabella has also taken to it, and spends time in the evenings with my husband trying to put the puzzle together. :-)
But, I have to say out of all the Tickety Toc goodies sent our way to review, the girls' favorite was the Tommy Talking Doll. When you push his belly, he says popular lines from the hit animated series, as well as plays the Tickety Toc theme song. My girls went crazy the first time they heard the theme song. And, even though they were sick, they had enough energy to get up off the couch and dance around the living room floor, singing word for word the catchy Tickety Toc theme song.
Savannah has since asked for the Tallulah Talking Doll for Christmas, along with the Tickety Toc Musical Pufferty Train. Arabella, on the other hand wants the Tickety Toc Clockhouse. So, Santa if you are reading this, please make note of their requests. :-)
