Sneak Vegetable Nutrition Into Your Picky Eater's Diet w/ a Chocolate Milkshake from Sneakz Organic (Review)

Disclosure: I was sent samples from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views shared are mine and mine alone.

I have shared on numerous occasions how Savannah is our picky eater.  When we think she has finally welcomed exploring new foods, she goes back to asking for hammy ham, soup or hot dogs.  And, when it comes to drinks, she is the same way -- either water or milk.  If she sees her favorite character on a juice bottle, then maybe she will take a sip.  Ugg.  When talking with the pediatrician, she suggested leaving Savannah's snack or lunch out and letting her graze.  But, that didn't work, as Arabella would come around and eat both her and Savannah's plate. So, now I am trying to get her to lose a couple of pounds as she weighs the same as Savannah, while being 15 months younger.

I can't tell you how many kid-friendly cookbooks I have purchased, just to try out finger food recipes with her.  But, to no avail, she is stubborn, and likes what she likes.  I wonder where she gets that from. :-)  The pediatrician also suggested giving her nutritional drinks, so that she gets the vitamins, minerals, etc. that she would otherwise get if she was eating a well balanced meal of fruits, veggies, etc.   But, either she spit out the drink when I gave it to her to try, or she flat out refused to try it.  So, when I was recently sent a four pack of Chocolate Milkshakes from Sneakz Organic, I wondered if she would try it.  These are no ordinary chocolate milkshakes. Each box contains a full serving of veggies, including carrots, broccoli and sweet potatoes.

At first, the combination of these veggies made even my husband and I wonder how they tasted.  So, after having them chilled for a few hours, we did our own taste test before giving one to the girls.  I was pleasantly surprised at how good this rich and creamy chocolate milkshake tasted.  You would never know it contained vegetable nutrition. And, when we gave it to Savannah to try, she reached for it, as it had a fox on the carton.  She took a sip and said, "Mmm, chocolate."

"Sneakz comes in a lunchbox-ready Tetra Pak package, creating shelf stability and convenience. Each container is 8 ounces. There is currently one milkshake flavor, Chocolate, currently available with a second flavor set to release in late 2013. With positive nutrition from whole foods, Sneakz is a nutritious snack and better-for-you treat that kids will actually enjoy drinking. Sneakz has 8g protein and 2g fiber, as well as vitamins and nutrients including 50% of Vitamin A, 20% of Vitamin C and 30% of Calcium (percent daily values based on a 2,000 calorie diet)."

You don't know how excited I was to have Savannah hand me her empty Sneakz Organic Chocolate Milkshake carton.  And, the next AM, she asked for another fox drink with her breakfast.  Now, each morning with breakfast or with her afternoon snack, both Savannah and Arabella enjoy their chocolate milkshake drink. They both think it is a treat, as it tastes so good.  Little do they know that it contains veggies and it good for them. :-)

If you have a picky eater in your house, and have found yourself trying everything to get them to eat more than what they do, why not consider trying these chocolate milkshakes from Sneakz Organic.  They really are a delicious nutritional drink, that both kids and parents will enjoy!
