If you have babies or teething toddlers, then you have probably seen or even purchased the Sophie la girafe toy/teether. I was given one as a baby shower gift for Savannah, and ended up buying another one when we found out we were expecting Arabella. And, whenever I get invited to a baby shower, this is one must have item I pick up and include with my gift, as I personally know how great Sophie la girafe is. I know I am not alone in thinking this, as most of my family and friends with young children own one to. :-)

Arabella is almost 2 years old, while Savannah just turned 3 yrs. old in July, and both can't get enough of each of the four books in the Sofie la girafe series from DK Publishing.

Like I said, my daughters love these books, and can't put them down. I love watching Savannah try to read each of the books to Bella. Even though she can't read, she uses her imagination to come up with a fun story. She even tries to teach her little sister colors, numbers and even shows here where to touch the textures areas on each page, as she tells her what she is feeling. Savannah is such a great Mommy's helper and big sister. These books have helped her learn how to count beyond 10. Now, she can count to 20, 50 and is working on counting to 100 thanks to the Sophie la girafe®: Let’s Get Counting. You should see how proud she gets when she shows off her counting skills to my husband or I, as well as other family and friends. :-)
These new Sofie la girafe board books from DK Publishing would make for a great baby shower gift. Even though I don't know anyone else having a baby soon, I know that when I get my next baby shower invite I will be creating a Sophie la girafe themed basket, including each of these books, as well as the popular Sophie la girafe toy. :-) These books would even make great stocking stuffer gifts for the upcoming holiday season for babies and toddlers, too!
