My Thoughts:

I never seem to have luck when it comes to having a television show last.  It also seems that every time I start getting into a series, it is either pulled, or not renewed.  But, thanks one of my guilty pleasure shows "Men at Work" made the cut, and has been renewed for a second season.  I stumbled across this show halfway through the first season, after a handful of my other shows were cancelled, and couldn't get enough of it.  I found myself trying to play catchup, and recording reruns to see what I had missed, when I wasn't watching this popular weekly comedy television series.  But, there were still a handful of episodes, including the pilot that I had missed, and couldn't wait to see.

So, I made note to watch for and pick up a copy of the complete first season once it became available -- which happens today, March 26th.  Luckily, I had the opportunity to receive a review copy prior to this store release date, which felt like Christmas to me.  And, whenever the girls would go to bed early and stay asleep (which is rarely), I would sneak an episode or two in.  I even got my husband hooked on this shows, as he watched a few episodes with me during our in-house date nights.

This hit series on TBS was created by actor/comedian Breckin Meyer, from Road Trip, and stars Danny Masterson of That 70's Show, James Lesure of Las Vegas and Michael Cassidy of The O.C.  The show follows these actors who all work together at a magazine, as they try to find love.  I was excited to finally see Danny Masterson in another television series, and love how he has wonderful chemistry with the other guys in the series.  Their friendship, like what we saw in That 70's Show, Danny Masterson starred in, looks real, and makes you wish you were part of their group -- or, at least that is what my husband says (minus being on the dating prowl).  You can't help but laugh throughout each episode, and wonder what will happen next.

So, if you have the same luck when it comes to having your favorite shows cancelled and have nothing to watch, why not give Men at Work, which airs on TBS a try?  You will not be disappointed one bit with this comedy series.  Start by picking up the complete first season, which is available today, and contains 10 laugh-out loud episodes.  And, make sure you make a point to watch the deleted scenes and outtakes that make up the bonus feature of this DVD, as they are just hilarious.
