My Thoughts:
The kind folks at Mill Creek Entertainment sent me "The Secret" and the recent "8 Movie Collection: Star Studded Dramas" DVDs to review. Like I shared earlier, with the recent snow storm that hit the East Coast a couple of weeks ago, as well as the nasty head cold and flu we keep passing back and forth to one another, we have found ourselves grounded. This has given the girls time to catch up on movies for themselves, while giving my husband and I time after they go to bed to enjoy new releases sent my way for review.
And, this past weekend my husband and I enjoyed watching the two recent Mill Creek Entertainment releases, "The Secret" and "8 Movie Collection: Star Studded Dramas." Prior to watching "The Secret," both my husband and I had read this popular book by the same title. So, we knew what the movie would be about, and were both looking forward to seeing it. In this movie, as in the book, "The Secret" reveals how you can change every aspect of
your life -- "Turning weakness or suffering into strength, power, unlimited
abundance, health and joy. Everything is possible, nothing is
impossible. There are no limits. Whatever you can dream of can be yours,
when you use "The Secret." Even if you haven't read this popular book, you will enjoy this DVD, which really does make you re-evaluate your life and what you want out of it.
As for the "8 Movie Collection: Star Studded Dramas" DVD set I was sent, I had already seen these fabulous movies over the years over a handful of times. I love when classics like these are put onto a collection DVD like this, so that I can have them all on one DVD and be able to watch them whenever I want, without having to search and low for the individual DVDs. My husband and I watched Excess Baggage over the weekend, and plan to watch the other seven dramas over the course of the next few months. I can't wait for movie night. :-)
