Let the Shushies Help Put Your Little Ones to Bed at Night (DVD Review and Giveaway)

Do you remember what you were doing on Jan. 27th?  I sure do -- we were tuned into BabyFirst TV (which is available on Dish Network, DirecTV and Comcast) for their new season debut of its popular music-centric series, ShushybyeUpon switching over to DirecTV last year, we stumbled across BabyFirst channel and can't get enough of their wonderful programming.  Our bedtime routine now consists of watching the Shushybye Baby series, as a way to calm the girls down and get them relaxed enough to drift off to sleep.

Have you seen this popular series on television, or by means of their growing DVD collection?  Last month, I shared a review of a collection of DVDs the folks at Mill Creek Entertainment released from BabyTV, which included a fun Shushybye Baby DVD.  And, then last week, we received the new 3DVD collection which features the following:

The DVDs include:

26 all-new complete episodes
56 Shushybye music videos
60 Original Shushybye songs in all
and
Over 40 fun-filled story-vignettes starring the Shushies!

If you are not familiar with this show, here is more about it:

"Shushybye is an original preschool entertainment and lifestyle brand, encompassing a national television series, national radio show, Video On Demand programming, series of bedtime storybooks, toys and plush dolls, music CDs, DVDs and sleepwear. Shushybye is all about dreams…dreams made especially for children by the Shushies who live in Shushybye villages such as Nap Valley, Snore Shore and Slumber Heights.  But children have to go to bed on time in order to get their Shushybye dreams (i.e. when Mommy tells them!).  Children make their Dream Wish before they go to sleep.  The Shushies make all their dreams then place them in Dream Boxes.  Conductor McCloud puts the Dream Boxes on the Shushybye Train and transports them to children as they fall asleep on time."

Sounds cute, huh?  It really is, and does an amazing job at keeping both my daughters' attention.  The relaxing music and cute stories about bedtime and Dreamland.  It makes me wonder after my daughters watch this show, what they dream about. :-)

Even though we received this 3-DVD set last week, we have already watched all 26 full-length episodes half a dozen times.  I am go glad that we made the switch in cable carriers, as I am loving BabyFirst and their educational programming geared towards babies and toddlers -- especially the Shushies.  But, don't fret if you don't get this channel through your cable provider.  First, you can call up and request that it be added, and then you can visit your favorite online retailer to pick up a copy of this new 3-DVD set, as well as the other BabyFirst DVDs I recently reviewed from Mill Creek Entertainment.  I know that once you watch the Shushies with your little one(s), you will be hooked, and want to watch more -- and, sing along.  The Shushies really have made our bedtime routine much more fun (and peaceful). :-)

And, don't forget to stay connect to the Shushies, to stay up-to-date on news, promotions and upcoming DVD releases:
