Peter Rabbit Organics, makers of the first line of USDA Certified Organic fruit and veggie puree snacks, has grown to include five new and nutritious flavors. The new flavor combinations, inspired by customer feedback, help moms squeeze more fruits and veggies into their kids’ diets through the use of familiar flavors like apple and banana. Made in Oregon, the snacks are sold in convenient, BPA-free, resealable pouches so babies, toddlers and young children can enjoy healthy snacks with no spoon required.

With the addition of the new flavors, the line now offers 11 pouches including:

-- Peach and Apple -- New!
-- Banana and Apple -- New!
-- Pear and Apple -- New!

Peter Rabbit Organics pouches contain a generous 4 to 4.4 oz. serving of 100 percent USDA certified organic fruit and veggies, providing one full serving per pouch. The snacks are high in vitamin C, range between 60 to 90 calories, and contain no added sugar, preservatives or artificial ingredients.

“Our new pouches are packed full of pure fruits and veggies, and based on flavor combinations moms have been asking for,” said Ben Ford, CEO of Peter Rabbit Organics. “With these new flavors, we’re helping moms squeeze even more nutrition into every day and build healthy eating habits for life.”

 My Thoughts:

I just love the baby food that comes in pouches.  As a busy mom on the go, the last thing I want to have to worry about is packing a spoon, or making sure the glass baby food jars don't break in the diaper bag.  I first stumbled upon Peter Rabbit Organics pouches last year, when Savannah was transitioning to stage 3 and 4 foods.  Luckily, she has been a fruit and veggies girl since we introduced baby food into her diet.  And, today at 21 months, she loves snacking on carrots, celery, tomatoes, apples and blueberries.  Because of her love of snacking, I make a point to have Peter Rabbit Organics pouches chilled in the fridge, as well as pack some in the diaper bag for snacks on the go.  Savannah loves having her own shelf on the refrigerator door, stocked with these pouches.  And, when she wants one, she lets me know by pointing the refrigerator, and then grabs the pouch she wants me to open.

Now, we are beginning to introduce Arabella to baby food.  The first food she sampled was the strawberry and banana pouch from Peter Rabbit Organics.  We knew she liked it, when she continued to fuss, wanting more.  I love being able to twist the reusable plastic spoons to the ends of these pouches and feed Arabella with ease, while Savannah sits next to her little sister, sucking away at her pouch of fruits and vegetables.

I was excited to hear that Peter Rabbit Organics was introducing five new flavors into the mix, and had to try the out with the girls.  Savannah instantly took to the Apple and Banana flavor, while Arabella enjoyed the Apple and Peach one.  We have had a hard time getting Arabella to eat her peas, but found that when it was combined with pears, she ate it right up.  I love being able to offer these pouches as a healthy snack.  And, if for some reason (not often), the girls can't finish a pouch, I simply screw the top back on and refrigerate the pouch, so that it can be enjoyed later in the day.  Each pouch contains a generous portion of organic vegetables and fruits, making up one full serving per pouch.

So, if your child loves to snack, why not offer them one of the five new flavors from the Peter Rabbit Organics product line?  Not only will you feel comfortable in knowing that they are getting a full serving of fruits or vegetables in each pouch, but they will love being able to hold and squeeze these tasty treats into their mouths.  Savannah feels like a big girl, as she eats her Peter Rabbit Organics snacks.
