While attempting to save the life of a
fatally-stabbed young woman, ER nurse Kaitlyn is accidentally
electrocuted by a backfiring defibrillator. Upon awakening, she begins
to experience memories that are not hers, but rather those of the
now-deceased victim. With her sanity in question and nowhere to turn,
Kaitlyn must weave through the woman’s past and piece together her
memories before the killer strikes again.
My Thoughts:
Looking for the perfect at home date night movie to watch with your sweetie, after the kids are asleep? Then, why not consider the recently released title, Insight, from Phase 4 Films. I find it fun to throw a thriller movie into the mix of comedies and dramas my husband and I watch, as it makes us feel like adults :-) We ended up watching Insight this past weekend, after a long day of trying to get the girls to nap and then sleep at night time. Even though we were both exhausted, the description of this movie was enticing, and made us want to watch it. I have always been a fan of Sean Patrick Flanery, since seeing him in Powder years ago, so it was nice to see him in another film. As soon as the movie began, my husband and I were both hooked. I was so glad we stayed awake for the twist ending, which made this movie worth watching from start to finish.
With the help of a strong cast, this murder mystery is brought to life and will have you guessing who the murderer is, all while bringing you on a roller coaster of twists. One minute you think you know who killed this young lady, only to be blidesided with another more pliable suspect. This is what I love about thillers, and what makes this movie worth watching.
