What If There Was A Season 11 of Smallville? What Would You Want to See Happen? Here are My Thoughts, Sparked by the Recent DVD Release of the 10th Season and Complete Series on DVD

With the recent release of  Smallville 10th Season DVD and Smallville The Complete Series on DVD, I was chatting with other fans of this hit show online about scenerios and wishes if there was ever a Season 11.  While we were chatting about this, the following came through the newswire:

BleedingCool.com has reported the news today that Smallville writer Bryan Q. Miller has been tapped to write a Smallville "Season 11" novel in the coming year, picking up where the series left off.

Unlike some of the televised "Smallville is returning" rumors, this one may have some legs, especially as Miller has worked with DC Comics before on their Batgirl comic.

Stay tuned for more details as soon as they become available or confirmation comes from DC Comics.

You don't know how excited we all were when we heard this news.  And, with this news, we talked more about what each of us would love to see happen if it was brought to a novel series or returned to the big screen or television.  Even though I feel they did the show justice with the series final episode.  The best part in my eyes was the last scene, where we see Clark becoming Superman and getting ready to take flight.  Ahh, I can still see the scene now in my head, and it still brings a smile to my face.  But, in all fairness, as everyone else was throwing out scenarios for Season 11 content, I would have to say that I would like to see the following happen:

  • Clark and Louis finally tie the knot -- they really do make the perfect couple
  • Lex win the Presidency, just because it will add more fuel and conflict to Superman/Clark and Lex tension and animosity
  • I would love for Season 11 to stay in Smallville, but realize now that Clark is Superman, it would move to Metropolis.  If this was the case, I would still love to see characters from both locations, and also a visit or two from Clark/Superman back to Smallville.
  • How cool would it be for Superman's cousins to come and check in on him, or join forces and help him fight crime?  I would tune in each week to see this.
Again, these are just a few of the wishes/hopes if there was ever a Season 11 of Smallville.  A fan can only dream right?  If you are fan of Smallville, what would you like to see happen if the show ever returned for a Season 11?  Or, are you like me and think the show's ending is perfect and shouldn't be touched?  I can't wait to hear your thoughts.

If you haven't already, make sure you order your Smallville 10th Season DVD and Smallville The Complete Series today.

Disclosure:  I have been hired by Warner Bros WBWord division to raise awareness for 'Smallville.
