Summary:

Jennie Garth of ''90210'' stars as Susan, an unemployed Los Angeles museum curator and widowed single mom temporarily living in a small California town with her three sensitive sons. Jake (Brad Rowe of ''General Hospital'') is a single dad of two tomboys who owns a local winery. When Susan's dog Rusty (voiced by Jay Mohr of ''Ghost Whisperer'') falls for Jake's poodle Cheri (voiced by Nikki Cox of ''Las Vegas''), these canine matchmakers help their owners fall in love too. Now with a Christmas Day wedding to plan -- and major complications threatening to unravel it all -- can two mismatched broods find a way to make one happy family? Tom Arnold and Catherine Hicks (''Seventh Heaven'') co-star in this heartwarming holiday film from the producer/director of The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation and Your Love Never Fails.

My Thoughts:

Here is another sure to become family favorite this holiday season -- A Christmas Wedding Tale, from Anchor Bay Entertainment.  I just love love holiday movies, as it really does get you in the holiday spirit, and is a great way to unwind after a hectic day, with family all snuggled up on the couch. It has been a family tradition since I was little to watch 1-2 holiday movies a night beginning on Thanksgiving.  We put the Christmas tree up and then sit down with a hot cup of cocoa and watch holiday classics and new movies.

So, when I was sent a copy of this heartwarming movie, A Christmas Wedding Tale, I couldn't wait to watch it with my family.  My daughter, though to young to understand the movie, loved the two dogs, who fall in love, played by real-life couple Jay Mohr and Nikki Cox.  My husband is not one to sit and watch these types of holiday movies, but I was surprised that he sat through the whole movie and even commented on how good it was once it was over.

If you are looking for a family movie to watch this holiday season with you entire family, why not pick up a copy of A Christmas Wedding Tale on DVD today.  This family friendly movie will appeal to all ages!

Disclosure:  I was sent a copy of this DVD in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
