My Thoughts:
I am a true chocoholic, so whenever I am given a chance to review anything containing chocolate, I am up for the challenge.  So, when I was sent these truffles from Vosges to sample and write up for my holiday guide, I was over the moon.  Having never sampled chocolate from Vosges before, I didn't know what to expect.

First off, I was so impressed with the packaging.  The purple box these truffles come in was beautiful wrapped in a ribbon.  It looks so pretty, I didn't want to open it.  But, I also couldn't wait to sample the luxurious truffles inside.  When I opened the lid, I was impressed with the delicate nature of each truffle.  You could tell that time and effort went into making each truffle look presentable and oh so tantalizing.

I am not one to read about the chocolate flavors.  Instead, I like to guess what the flavor is while I am taking small bites.  The first truffle I had sampled was the Ambrosia - Australian macadamia nuts + Cointreau® + white chocolate.  Ahh, my palate was in love.  The white chocolate was rich and creamy.  And, the macadamia nuts were a nice compliment to the white chocolate, and really offered just the right crunch.

The remaining 8 truffles were just as good as the first truffle I had sampled.  I ended up hiding the box from the family, as I didn't want to share these delicious treats.  I kept them as a special late night indulgence.  So, when I got up to feed the baby, I would nibble on a truffle and slowly relax, while savoring each bite.

I will definitely be buying these truffles again, and asking my husband for them as an anniversary or Valentine’s Day gift.  If you love truffles or chocolate, you will fall in love with these truffles from Vosges.

In addition to the box of truffles, I was sent a lovely Chocolate Cameo Gift Set Box.

Our favorite cast of characters from classic holiday tales are molded into silhouette portraits of milk and dark chocolate spiced with holiday parfums. Each character has a fun, whimsical tale to tell on the back of their individual packaging. A great holiday gift and perfect stocking stuffers!

I ended up sharing these with my husband, as I wanted him to taste the exceptional quality of this chocolate.  He ended up eating the Mrs. Claus and Vixen portraits, while I had Ebenezer and Esme the Elf.  I could sit here all day and rave in detail about these chocolates, but I will not be that mean.  Just know that Vosges Haut offers an amazing array of chocolates and gift sets that will make anyone receiving them jump for joy.  Their palettes will be woken up, and when asked who their favorite chocolate maker, they will say, Vosges Haut.

Disclosure:  I was sent samples from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
